Terms & Conditions
1. Entering the Competition:
a. This Competition is governed by and subject to the following Terms and Conditions (Competition).
b. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
c. Participation in this Competition constitutes an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
d. Patrons who become a member of Fusion at Crown by completing an online membership application, between the dates Wednesday 6 December 2010 – Friday 14 January 2011 will receive an opportunity to win a Fusion VIP Experience.
e. All membership details must be completed in full and received by Crown before 10am Friday 14 January 2011. No other method of entry other than online will be accepted.
f. The draw will take place at 11am Friday 14 January 2011 at the Crown Marketing offices, Level 4, Crown Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman Street Street, Southbank VIC 3006. The prize is described below.
g. In the event the prize has not been claimed by the winners by 10am Friday 21 January 2011, an unclaimed prize draw will be held at 11am Friday 21 January 2011 at Crown Entertainment offices, Level B1, Crown Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank VIC 3006.
2. Prize
a. Prize consists of one Fusion VIP Experience including :
i. VIP entry for four people to Fusion
ii. $250 drink card for four people
iii. $250 Food and Beverage voucher
iv. Plus four tickets to see Dirty Laundry on Saturday 29 January 2011 at Fusion.
Total value $580.00
3. Important notice to all patrons:
b. The prize is strictly not redeemable for cash or transferable and is non-negotiable.
c. The Fusion drink card is only valid on the night it is redeemed. Should the full value of the drink card not be redeemed, the balance is not redeemable for cash or transferable.
d. In the event the prize winner does not use the tickets for the Saturday 29 January 2011 event, those tickets are forfeited and will not be replaced with a similar event. Subject to clause 3(c), the remaining three parts of the prize will remain valid for 12 months from date of issue.
e. Crown will notify the winner by telephone and mail.
f. The winner’s name and suburb will be published in the Herald Sun newspaper on Friday Wednesday 19 January 2011.
g. In the event the unclaimed prize draw takes place the redrawn winner’s name and suburb will be published in the Herald Sun newspaper on Wednesday 26 January 2011.
h. The winner will have to nominate themselves plus the number of guests attending (maximum of three [3]) at the time of booking the date upon which he or she wishes to redeem the prize.
i. Crown reserves the right and licence to use the winner’s name, suburb, photograph, image and likeness for the purpose of promoting and advertising the Competition and/or the Crown Entertainment Complex.
j. The Competition is only open to persons aged 18 years and over who are not excluded from the Casino for any reason.
k. Crown practises responsible service of alcohol.
l. Employees of Crown and the Burswood Group of companies are not permitted to participate in the Competition.
m. Subject to law, Crown (including its employees, agents and contractors) has no liability to any person for injury (including death), loss or damage whatsoever howsoever arising in connection with this Competition or the prize (including the awarding, condition, use or misuse of the prize). This clause does not apply to the extent that Crown’s liability (if any) arises from an act or omission of Crown in respect of its supply of services and/or goods to a prize winner in the ordinary course of Crown’s business.
n. Crown reserves the right to cancel this Competition at any time (such as in the case of unforeseen circumstances outside Crown’s reasonable control), subject to compliance with Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation guidelines.
o. Crown’s decisions in connection with any aspect of this Competition will be final and binding on each entrant.
p. Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in immediate disqualification.
q. Disqualification will be at Crown’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
r. Entrants’ information collected during this Competition will not be disclosed to any third parties, unless such disclosure is required by law.
s. Other terms and conditions may apply in relation to the use of the prize.
t. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, ‘Crown’ means Crown Melbourne Limited ABN 46 006 973 262.
