McDonald’s family restaurants across the Sunshine Coast, in conjunction with the Sunshine Coast Daily, have pledged their support to the community by offering $100,000 worth of merchandise to local groups.
To assist and encourage the community to engage in healthy outdoor activity, McDonald’s restaurants are inviting sporting clubs, schools and community groups to enter the draw to win a huge range of prizes, including marquees, goalpost pads and team training kits.
Gary Binet, McDonald’s licensee at Maroochydore and Kuluin, said he encouraged groups of any size or background to enter the draw.
“I’d love to hear from any type of organisation who could find a use for these items,” Mr Binet said.
“It’s our way of saying thanks to the community who support us.
“The equipment is perfect for outdoor events where big crowds are expected, as they have a large capacity.
“I want people to enjoy their time at the events by keeping cool and comfortable and being able to train with adequate equipment,” Mr Binet said.
Entry forms will be appear in the Daily every day until February 28.
