After being fired from her previous job, Becky (Rachel McAdams) takes on the task of executive producer for low-rating morning TV show Daybreak. In an attempt to revitalise the show Becky hires famed news reporter Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford) whose egotistical ways means he refuses to cover the usual morning news topics including celebrity gossip, fashion and crafts and clashes with his co-host Colleen Peck (Diane Keaton). In the midst of all this drama Becky must fight to save her failing relationship. Presented by Paramount, opens January 6.
