Terms and Conditions

   1. The Devondale Bring Back the Family Promotion is operated by the Murray Goulburn Cooperative Co Limited (ABN 23 004 277 089) (Murray Goulburn), 140 Dawson Street, Brunswick, Victoria (Promoter).
   2. The Promotion will operate from 12:00 am AEDST 29th November 2010 and finish at 11.59pm AEDST on 31st January 2011 (Promotion Period).
   3. You agree to the terms and conditions of the Promotion by submitting your entry for the Promotion. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid. Information on how to enter the promotion form part of these conditions of entry.
   4. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older who fulfil entry requirements. Employees of the Promoter or its agencies associated with this competition, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter this promotion.
   5. There are two methods to enter:
         1. Go to www.devondalebringback.com.au/the familymeal complete your details in full and then tell us in 25 words or less your idea of a family meal; or
         2. Go to www.facebook.com/pages/Devondale/120128244717874. 'Like' (Facebook term for becoming a fan of the Facebook page) this page and fill out your details in the form and then tell us in 25 words or less your idea of a family meal. The idea can relate to the experience of a family meal or the meal itself.
   6. The best entry received on each day of the Promotion Period , as determined by the panel of judges, will receive a $100 prize. The entry judged by the panel to be the best received during the Promotion Period will receive the Grand Prize of $5000.
  7. Multiple entries will be accepted and each will be considered when selecting the Grand Prize of $5,000 however, each day's submitted entries will be considered only for that day's $100 daily prize. Only the daily prize winners will be considered for the Grand Prize.
   8. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period. Entries received after the Promotion Period will not count towards the competition.
   9. This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged individually by a panel of judges selected by the Promoter according to creativity, originality, composition and grammar.
  10. Judging for the daily $100 prizes will take place at 12:00pm (AEST) on every Monday during the promotion and winners will be chosen from the previous week's entries.
  11. Judging for the grand prize of $5,000 will take place at 12:00pm Tuesday 2nd February 2011.
  12. The judges' decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. Total value of the prizes for the competition is $11,300
  14. The Prize Winners will be notified by one of the following methods:
         1. via their Facebook account
         2. via email, using the email address submitted at time of entry
         3. via phone, using the phone number submitted at time of entry
  15. In the event the Promoter is unable to contact a winner of a daily prize or the winner of the Grand Prize within 1 month from the date of the judges decision, that prize will be awarded to the next best entry as determined by the panel of judges.
  16. Each Prize winner's name, their Facebook profile picture and their winning idea will be displayed on the Devondale Facebook page and on the www.devondalebringback/thefamilymeal website. All people/profiles that have 'Liked' the Devondale Facebook page will also receive a notification via Facebook of each winner's name, profile picture and winning idea.
  17. The Promoter is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any communications network or any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entry whether due to error, transmission interruption or otherwise. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the Promoter, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language.
  18. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION ON A WEBSITE, OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS COMPETITION, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
  19. Your entry must not infringe copyrights – so be original and make it up yourself. For example, don't copy other people's music, lyrics, arrangements, soundtracks, videos, performance, art, graphics, words, literature, film, photos etc. If your entry includes any infringing material it will be null and void.
  20. Privacy and Your Personal Information: Entry details become the property of the Promoter, Murray Goulburn, Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using their names and entry details for promotional and/or marketing purposes. The Winners will agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter, unless otherwise notified to the contrary at the time of acceptance of the Prize. Murray Goulburn will handle all your information in accordance with its privacy policy available at www.devondale.com.au/privacy. You may opt-out of the Promotion upon receipt of a communication from Murray Goulburn or by sending an email to unsubscribe@devondalepromotion.com.au.
  21. Murray Goulburn will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained relating to your involvement in the Promotion except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
