CONDITIONS OF ENTRY1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of these conditions.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents. Employees of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Participants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of their legal parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter. The parent or guardian may be called to verify consent and may be required to sign a release at the discretion of the Promoter.
3. Competition commences 6/01/11 and closes in-store 26/01/1 (Promotional Period). Entries close 28/01/11 at 6pm (AEDT). The draw will take place at 11am (AEDT) on 4/02/11 at Focal Promotions Suite 1, 20 Wangara Road, Sandringham VIC 3191. Winners will be notified by certified mail and their names will be published in ‘The Australian’ newspaper on 11/02/11.
4. You may enter as many times as you like provided that each entry is a separate online entry and includes the 13 digit barcode of a participating product purchased during the promotional period. Only one entry is permitted per product purchased. No individual product can be used for entry qualification more than once. In order to be eligible to claim a prize, winning entrants will be required to provide proof of purchase for each entry submitted by presenting a photocopy of their Coles receipt (or Tax Invoice for Coles online customers). Any costs associated with the prize winner’s production of the valid Coles receipt or tax invoice will be at the Promoter’s expense.
5. The first valid entry drawn will win a Backyard Barbecue for 20 friends hosted by Sam Kekovich. Prize includes a Weber® Summit E650 BBQ valued at $4999, fully catered BBQ and Sam Kekovich appearance – max prize value $6999. Prize must be taken within 6 months of draw date and is subject to Sam Kekovich’s availability. The next 20 valid entries drawn will each win a Weber® Family Q300 LP BBQ valued at $799 and a Coles Gift card valued at $100. Total prize pool: 21 prizes. Maximum total value of prize pool is $24979. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Only 1 prize per household will be awarded. If a winner is under 18 years the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian on their behalf. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
7. Values of prizes are shown as a guide only, were correct at the time of printing and include GST where applicable. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. Should the items specified in item 5 above be unavailable or superseded the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of a similar replacement type and value, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each State and Territory, where relevant.
8. Subject, where relevant, to any written directions given by the relevant gaming authority, any unclaimed prizes will be awarded in a further draw to be held at 11am on 6/05/11 at Focal Promotions, Suite 1, 20 Wangara Road, Sandringham VIC 3191. Winners will be notified by certified mail and the winners name will be published in ‘The Australian’ newspaper on 13/05/11.
9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestions on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including but not limited to, any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this competition.
10. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
11. Any costs associated with accessing the website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
12. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking a prize.
13. Protecting your personal information - Coles Supermarkets Australia Pty Ltd may use winners’ names and photographs for publicity purposes. Information contained on entries may be entered into a database and the Promoter and its related companies may use that information for research, promotional and marketing purposes. Information contained on the entries will be used exclusively by the Promoter and its related companies and not provided to any other party. Please contact the promoter at the address provided below if you do not wish your information to be used by the Promoter for future promotional and marketing purposes. A request to access, correct or update any personal information should also be directed to the promoter.
