Each half hour episode presents three of the strangest, grizzly or imply avoidable deaths from across the globe – and the science that transforms bizarre mystery into explainable fact. Like the case of bible salesman Hailu Marian, who was struck by lightning under a cloudless sky. He wasn’t killed by divine intervention but y the fact that lightning can travel sideways, often striking up to 40 kilometres away.This is a scientific investigation of case tudies where death has come from unexpected means.

Curious and Unusual Deaths is a journey through the world’s weirdest fatalities – and the scientific story behind each one. It’s science that kills when death shows no mercy.
