To enter, individuals must then enter online by visiting www.sunbeamfoods.com.au/promotions, follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input the requested details, including Woolworths purchase receipt details the last four (4) digits of the two (2) specified product barcodes and submit the fully completed entry form by 11:59pm AEDST on 09/03/2011.TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is open to all Australian residents. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to this Promotion. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
6. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
7. Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry.
8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
9. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotion database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.
10. Promotion commences on 17/01/2011 and ends in-store at close of business on 07/03/2011. Final entries close 11:59 pm AEDST on 09/03/2011.The draw will take place at Prime Focus, Suite 403, 62 Beach Street, Port Melbourne, VIC, 3207 on 10/03/2011 at 12:00 noon AEDST. The winner will be notified in writing and by telephone and the winner’s name will be published in The Australian on 24/03/2011.
11. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The first valid entry drawn will win a Holden Captiva 5 Manual 2WD with a 2.4 litre, 4 cylinder engine including on road costs, valued at up to $31,190 (inc GST) depending upon the winners location of residence. The prize includes dealer delivery, one year’s registration, one year’s compulsory third party insurance, on road costs and other statutory charges. The car prize does not include metallic paint, comprehensive insurance, petrol, additional options or any additional accessories. If a winner of the car prize is under the age of 18 years as at the closing date of the competition, the car prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian. Each winner or his or her parent or guardian (as the case may be) (Deemed Winner) is responsible for arranging their attendance at the premises nominated by the Promoter to collect the vehicle. Deemed Winner may nominate the vehicle colour of the car prize. Deemed Winner may choose a metallic colour at an additional cost payable by the Deemed Winner. GM Holden does not allow any variations to the standard vehicle specification. Each Deemed Winner must provide all information and sign all documentation necessary to enable the Promoter to register the vehicle in the name of the Deemed Winner prior to collection. To be eligible to claim the vehicle, each Deemed Winner must be capable of obtaining registration of the vehicle in his or her name in accordance with the applicable legislation in the state or territory in which the vehicle is collected. If a Deemed Winner is, through any legal incapacity or otherwise unable to register the vehicle in his or her name then he or she may, notwithstanding any condition set out in these Terms & Conditions of Entry to the contrary, assign the vehicle to another person with legal capacity for the purpose of registration of the vehicle.
12. If for any reason the Deemed Winner (or their assignee) does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will not be redeemable for cash.
13. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
14. Total prize pool value is up to $31,190 including GST. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable (other than in accordance with clause 11) or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
15. A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 14/06/2011 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winner will be notified in writing and by telephone and the winner’s name will be published in The Australian on 27/06/2011.
16. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
18. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) the prize.
20. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
