THE MADMAN UNIVERSE OF ANIME AND CULT CHARACTERS MAY HAVE BEEN ON HOLIDAY.
But now its time to sharpen the pencils, shine the shoes, and hit the books - it's back to school!
While many anime characters are schoolkids to begin with, they're often out piloting mechs or saving the universe. What of those day to day school struggles we don't see? What if they got transferred to a school that didn't match their special skills? Will lunchmoney be hard to come by? Will they struggle to make friends? Will they be a teachers pet or hate class?
And ESPECIALLY for those characters who are far from a classroom in their lives, send them back to school! Remedial class for anime adults! Get back to school!
HOW TO ENTER:

ad your art with a brief description of the character, the scene, and the circumstances of their return to school. If this is also clear from your artwork, all the better!
Artwork entered should be a TIFF or JPEG file, at least 10cm x 15cm at 300dpi PRIZES:
The artwork judged as the best will receive the following prizes!
1st - $150 voucher for Madman's online store
2nd - $100 voucher for Madman's online store
3rd - $75 voucher for Madman's online store
4th - $50 voucher for Madman's online store
Entries close Tuesday March 15, 2011TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
1. Competition opens on 20th January 2010.
2. Entries must be received by 28th February 2011. Entries received after this time will not be eligible for consideration by the Judges. 3.The winner will be selected by 15th March 2011.
4. Australian residents only. Employees and immediate families of Madman Entertainment Pty Ltd or Funtastic Limited are not eligible to enter. 5. The winner will be the most original and inventive answer to the question, as determined by the Judges in their absolute discretion.
6. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
7. The Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The major prize winner will receive a prize voucher valued at $150; 1st Runner-up winner will receive a prize voucher valued at $100; 2nd Runner-up winner will receive a prize voucher valued at $75; 3rd Runner-up Winner will receive a prize voucher valued at $50. Total Combined Prize-Pool Value = $375.
9. The winners will be notified by email upon draw and publicly listed on Madman.com.au by 30th March 2011.
10. Prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize is forfeited. 13. The Promoter is not liable for any entries which are lost, stolen, misdirected, delayed, illegible or damaged.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any person who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
12. Submitting an entry constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provided proof of identity and age. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
14. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of, or in connection with taking or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. All personal details of the entrants will be stored on the Promoter's server and will only be used for the purposes of administering this competition. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at the address below.
