1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
2. This is a game of skill with entrants posting why they think they should be the winner of the competition and ‘liking’ us on Facebook
3. Entry is open to persons over 18 years of age. Or accompanied by an adult. Employees of Surfest Ltd and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Only one entry per person is permitted. All duplicate entries will be removed prior to the prize draw.
4. Promotion commences on January 17, 2011 and closes at February 7, 2011. Promotion will be via Surfest Ltd
5. There is one prize to be given away for the duration of the competition. The draws will take place on February 8, 2011. The winner will be notified by email and will be posted on Surfests’ official Facebook page. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

2 x VIP tickets to Burton Toyota Surfest each day from 18th -20th March
Location: Merewether Surf Club, Merewether Beach
Hospitality: 12pm – 3pm on each of the active days. Includes, entry into the exclusive VIP function, beverages served from 12pm – 3pm, lunch served 12pm-2pm.
2 x return flights to and from Newcastle Airport from Gold Coast, Melbourne or Brisbane flying Jetstar or Virgin Blue. Arrival date will be Friday 18th March 2011 and departure date will be Monday 21st March 2011. It is the persons’ responsibility to get to Gold Coast Melbourne or Brisbane Airports if located in another area and must pay all expenses to and from the airport. The promoter will not be liable for any such costs that are involved with additional transport.
3x night’s accommodation at The Sebel, Newcastle. A bond or security deposit may be requested at time of check in to cover any guest’s incidentals or damages. It is the winner’s responsibility to put forward this bond. The promoter will not be responsible for any extra costs. The dates will be the nights of Friday 18th March, Saturday 19th March and Sunday 20th March 2011.

8. The above prizes include GST. The prize pool is valued at approximately $2000. This prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other prizes. Prize value is recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and is correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
9. The promoter may conduct further draws at the same time and place as the original draw as is necessary on, in order to distribute a prize if unclaimed by that date.
10. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time (February 10th, 2011) stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
11. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will be entered into a database. The promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
