A Heartbeat Away is a movie set to remind you that rock & roll is the soundtrack to teenage rebellion, even in 2011. When Edwin (William Zappa) has to pull out of conducting a small-town marching band, his long-haired, loud-loving son Kevin (Sebastian Gregory) is the only one who can take over. But to save the band from being rationalised away by Mayor Riddick (Colin Friels) he’ll have to drag them out of obsolescence with the healing power of rock. A Heartbeat Away is in cinemas from Thursday Mar 17.
