1.Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions of entry.
 The promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged 16 years and over.
 Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

2.The promotional period commences April 5, 2011 and closes 11:59pm (AEDST) May 5, 2011. The winners will be contacted by phone and/or mail using the contact details provided in their entry. It is the winners’ responsibility to provide accurate contact details. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit.

3.Participants may enter the promotion as follows. During the promotional period all valid entrants who visit the cosmopolitan website www.cosmopolitan.com.au must answer in 25 words or less “Why does your Mum deserve a Bridge Climb voucher?” Entry must also include the entrant’s name, daytime phone number and mailing address. The Promoter will not be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected entries, or incomplete or incorrect entrant contact details. Incomplete, illegible, incorrect and incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid and will not be included in the judging.

 4.Multiple entries accepted but each entry must be submitted separately and must be unique. The best 3 entries will receive two gift certificates each for a Bridge Climb over Sydney Harbour, valued at $416 each. The total prize pack is valued at $1298.

8. The prize is non transferable or exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.

 9. Entries not completed in accordance with the rules and conditions or received after the closing date will not be considered valid and will not be included in the judging. The judge’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.

10.Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; and/or (f) participation in the prize.

 11.In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right (subject to reference to all relevant state and territory regulations), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

12.If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. 13.By entering the promotion, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the promotion from the Promoter and other emails which inform the entrant of the Promoter’s other publications, products, services and events and to promote third party goods and services it may be interested in. 14.All entries become the property of the Promoter. The value of each prize is equal to $416 inclusive of GST (the total value is equal to $1248). Date The promotion will run from 4 April 2011 to 3 May 2011. Competition Terms & Conditions Each prize will be issued in the form of BridgeClimb Gift Certificates (2 per winner). Each Gift Certificate is valid for 12 months from the draw date. Recipients of a Gift Certificate can experience The Express Climb, The Discovery Climb or The Bridge Climb on a Day or Night Climb only (i.e. not a Dawn Climb or Twilight Climb), between 3 May 2011 and 2 May 2012, outside exclusion periods. To participate in The Express Climb, The Discovery Climb or The Bridge Climb, the Gift Certificate recipient (“Climber”) must meet BridgeClimb’s standard health and safety conditions, available at http://www.bridgeclimb.com/theClimb/safety.htm. Climbers will need to take into account any medical conditions they may have that may impact on their ability to climb vertical ladders and steep slopes safely. Climbers must be over 10 years of age and physically fit. All 10 to 15 year-old Climbers must be accompanied by a paying adult Climber (or they may use an adult Gift Certificate or prize letter valid for 1 or more adults). The level of exertion and exhilaration is dependent on the Climb experience chosen by the Climber. The experience is between 2¼ and 3½ hours depending on the climb chosen and potentially exposes participants to all weather conditions. All Climbers will be breath tested and must register a blood alcohol content reading of less than 0.05%. Climbers who fail this test will not be permitted to Climb and entrants will not be offered an alternate prize. Climbers must complete a declaration form and satisfy BridgeClimb Sydney’s terms of trade.
