Our enduring fascination with the myths of vampires, demons and werewolves, has haunted our literature for millennia. But long before Dr Frankenstein's monster there was the Golem; a superhuman figure fashioned from mud and endowed with terrible strength. Playwright Lally Katz and Director Michael Kantor have woven humour, philosophy and fantasy to create a mischievous rendering of this classic myth. In their hands, this monster becomes a troubling yet seductive mirror to our contemporary selves.
