Terms & Conditions:
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Entry is via the Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies website.
2. Entry is open to all Australian residents. Directors and employees of the promoter are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences on 20 June 2011 at 00:01 (AEST) and concludes on 30 July 2011 at 11:59pm (AEST) (“Promotion Period”). No responsibility will be accepted for late. Incomplete, incorrectly submitted, misdirected or redirected entries.
4. To enter, individuals must purchase any three Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies products from a Woolworths/Safeway store during the Promotion Period, then complete the entry form provided on the Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies website
www.melindasgfg.com . Individuals must retain the purchase receipt(s) as proof of purchase.
5. Entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered into the major prize draw and email details retained for future promotional newsletters. Entrants may elect not to be added to the promotional database
6. Multiple entries from the same person will be accepted but each entry must be in respect of the purchase of three Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies products from a Woolworths/Safeway store, which have not previously been the subject of an entry in the Promotion. Only one entry per three Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies products purchased is permitted. Each entry must be made on a separate online entry form.
7. Each entrant must retain their Woolworths/Safeway receipt (or copy of it) in respect of each entry made, and upon request, present them to their Promoter as proof of their purchase of three Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies products. Proof of purchase should be retained until after the unclaimed prize draw date as set out in condition 15. The promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to validate and check the authenticity of any prize claim or entry before awarding a prize, and, at its absolute discretion, to disqualify any entrant not able to produce, upon request of the Promoter, stores receipt(s) as proof of purchase of any entry.
8. Entrants can only enter in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right to confirm and verify the identity of a winning entrant, by requesting the winning entrant to provide proof of age, proof of identity and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable id s the Promoter’s absolute discretion. The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to disqualify any entrant for failing to comply with any of these terms and conditions.
9. If a drawn entry is deemed not to comply with these terms and conditions, the entry will be discarded and the next drawn entry that does comply with these terms and conditions will be awarded the prize. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. There is one major prize draw to take place at Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies, 167 Ness Road, Salisbury, QLD, 4107 at 12:00pm (AEST) on Monday 1 August 2011. The first valid drawn entry received from all entries received throughout the Promotion Period will receive a luxury weekend away at Byron Bay (Total value $6350) including: airfares for two from their nearest capital city to Ballina, NSW ($2500), car hire for three days ($250), two nights’ accommodation at Byron Beachfront Apartments in an ocean front penthouse apartment ($2400), lunch and dinner hosted by Melinda ($700), optional shopping trips to discover the range of gluten free foods available and $500 spending money. The second and third valid entry drawn will receive an Apple iPad with a voucher to download Melinda’s allergy free entertaining app (RRP $750 each). The total prize pool equals $7850.
11. Winners will be notified by phone and email within two days after the major prize draw and advised how to claim their prize. Winners’ names will be published in The Herald Sun on 10 August 2011 and on the Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies website and Facebook page within two days of the major prize draw (3 August 2011). The prize values are correct at the date of publication and the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
12. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to a parent or guardian of the winner.
13. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
14. Winners will receive their prize within 28 days of the major prize draw. Prizes will be delivered to the winners residence upon confirmation and validation of their proof of purchase (such confirmation and validation will be at the Promoter’s absolute discretion). The luxury weekend away prize date will be negotiated between the winner and Promoter on an agreeable date.
15. The Promoter may conduct such further draws as are deemed necessary at Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies 167 Ness Road, Salisbury QLD 4107 on 1 November 2011 at 12pm (AEST) in order to distribute any prize unclaimed by that date, subject, however, to any written directions given under any State regulations and, where applicable, the name for the prize winner will be published in the Herald Sun on 9 November 2011 and on the Melinda’s website and Facebook page on 3 November 2011.
16. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity to proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval or any written directions given by the various State or Territory government authorities.
17. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The information provided by the entrants will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the Promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting the Promotion or communicating with entrants, and to State and Territory gaming authorities were required to do so.
