AN epic tale of three men competing for the love of one woman will play out on the Lyric Theatre stage at Brisbane's QPAC.

The new musical Dr Zhivago stars Anthony Warlow in the title role as a dedicated husband, father and healer while in his heart a poet, dreamer and passionate idealist.

Lucy Maunder plays the alluring Lara.

The production is based on Boris Pasternak's famous 20th century novel. Dr Zhivago hit the big screen in 1965 as an epic drama romance by David Lean and created a star of Omar Sharif.

Quest Newspapers has 21 double passes to Dr Zhivago at the Lyric Theatre on Tuesday July 19 to give away. Each prize is valued at $198.
