For the past six years, Ty Segall has made a name for himself cranking out the kind of rowdy ear-splitting, lo-fi garage punk rock that makes the White Stripes sound like something you’d buy for your Grandma. At just 23 years old, the prolific wunderkind has already made nine albums including four solo albums since 2008 and three with former band The Epsilons. Plus he’s released with fellow San Fran neo-psych garage mainstays and tour mates Thee Oh Sees and still finds time to be a sometime member of Sic Alps. He’s heading to Australia for the first time this July to celebrate the release of his new album Goodbye Bread, and thanks to Popfrenzy Records we have five doubles up for grabs to his gig at Woodland Thursday Jul 7, winners will also score a copy of the album! Entrants must be 18+.
