Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on 23/06/2011 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 05/08/2011 ("Promotional Period")


Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 21 years or over who have a full unrestricted drivers license ("Eligible Entrants").


To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotional Period, visit www.A6rewards.com.au and follow the prompts to complete each stage of the competition entry form. The competition entry form will contain six (6) stages. Each stage will have a series of different questions to be answered. Once an Eligible Entrant completes the series of questions for a particular stage of the entry form they will receive one (1) entry into the draw for the prize relevant to that stage of the entry form. They will then be prompted to complete the next series of questions for the next stage of the entry form and this process will be repeated until the Eligible Entrant completes and submits their answers to the sixth stage of the entry form. If an Eligible Entrant leaves the entry form before completing all six (6) stages of the entry form they are able to come back to the competition entry form, however they will need to start the process again. For the removal of doubt Eligible Entrants will still only be able to receive one (1) entry into the relevant draw for each stage of the entry form regardless of how many times they return to the site to complete the entry form. Entries will be awarded at the completion of each stage of the entry form.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

Only one (1) entry into each prize draw permitted per person.

If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

The prize draws will take place at Anisimoff Legal Suite 3 Erina Plaza, 210 Central Coast Highway Erina NSW 2250 at 3:00pm on 08/08/2011. Winners will be notified within two (2) business days of the draw by phone and also in writing by email. Winners’ names will also be published in The Australian on 10/08/2011. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

There are six (6) prize draws to be conducted for this promotion. Each prize draw corresponds to a separate stage of the entry form.

The first three (3) valid entries drawn from all entries received for stage one (1) of the entry form will each win an Exclusive Audi Golf Reward valued at up to $2,533 depending on winner’s place of residence. Prize includes 1 x Audi branded golf bag, 1 x Audi branded sports bag, 1 x Audi golf shirt (size to be determined by the Promoter in their absolute discretion), and 1 x Audi branded hat, and golf balls. The prize also includes a golf day for two (2) adults at a golf course near the winner’s residence (as determined by the Promoter in their absolute discretion), The golf day includes green fees, cart hire for a 18 hole course, a $100 voucher for food and beverages from the golf course on the day and return transfers (chauffer driven in an Audi) from the winner’s residence to the selected golf course.

The first three (3) valid entries drawn from all the entries received for stage two (2) of the entry form will each win The A6 Days Test Drive Reward valued at up to $1,334. Prize includes a six (6) day test drive of an Audi A6 vehicle, an Audi merchandise pack (including 1 x umbrella, 1 x key ring and 1 x sports bag), a $100 fuel voucher and a picnic hamper. Prize includes the return transfers as required to and from the pick up point of the Audi A6 vehicle.

The first three (3) valid entries drawn from all entries received for stage three (3) of the entry form will each win a Matt Moran Culinary Reward for two (2) adults valued at up to $5,166 depending on date and point of departure. Prize includes return economy class airfares from the winners nearest capital city to Sydney, NSW (if necessary), two (2) nights twin share accommodation at Intercontinental in Sydney, NSW including buffet breakfast, a cooking class with Matt Moran at Aria restaurant in Sydney, NSW followed by a three (3) course lunch at Aria restaurant, a signed copy of Matt Moran’s cook book, $500 spending money for the winner and return airport to hotel transfers (chauffer driven in an Audi) including to and from Aria.

The first two (2) valid entries drawn from all entries received for stage four (4) of the entry form will each win an Sydney Cultural Weekend Reward for two (2) adults valued at up to  $5,250 depending on point of departure. Prize includes return economy class airfares from the winners nearest capital city to Sydney, NSW (if necessary), two (2) nights twin share accommodation at Intercontinental in Sydney, NSW including buffet breakfast, a double pass to Sydney Theatre Company opening night performance of Gross Und Klein on 19/11/2011, dinner for two (2) adults at Aria to that value of $500, $500 spending money for the winner and return airport to hotel transfers (chauffer driven in an Audi) including to and from the Sydney Theatre Company. This prize must be taken to coincide with the Sydney Theatre Company opening night performance of Gross Und Klein taking place on 19/11/2011. The first two (2) valid entries drawn from all entries received for stage five (5) of the entry form will each win an Audi Track Experience Reward for two (2) adults valued at up to $4,306 depending on date and point of departure. There is one (1) Audi Drive Experience to be held in Sydney, NSW and one (1) to be held in Melbourne, VIC. The Promoter will determine the destination for the drawn winner in their absolute discretion. Prize includes: return economy class airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city to either Sydney, NSW or Melbourne, VIC depending on winners prize destination (if necessary), two (2) nights twin share accommodation at Intercontinental (Sydney or Melbourne) including buffet breakfast, return airport to hotel transfers (chauffer driven in an Audi), $500 spending money for the winner and entry for two (2) adults to the Audi Track Day event (Sydney – Eastern Creek International Raceway or Melbourne – Calder Park Raceway), which includes a hot lap of the track for two (2) adults.

The first valid entry drawn from all entries received for stage six (6) of the entry form will win an Audi Hamilton Island Race Week Reward for two (2) adults valued at up to $11,124 depending on point of departure. Prize includes return economy class airfares from the winners nearest capital city to Hamilton Island airport, QLD (if necessary), two (2) nights twin share accommodation at Qualia Resort, a double pass for a round of golf for two (2) adults at Dent Island Course, a VIP opportunity to watch a sailing race from an Audi yacht including hospitality, the opportunity to attend the Collette Dinnigan 2011/2012 resort collection fashion show, a dinner for two (2) adults for Matt Moran’s degustation menu and return hotel to airport and sailing race  transfers. This prize must be taken to coincide with the opening weekend of Audi Hamilton Island Race Week, commencing on 20/08/2011 and is subject to booking and flight availability.

All prizes where accommodation and flights are included are subject to booking and flight availability. Additional spending money, additional meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included in any prize. All prizes including airfares include airfare taxes.

Where flights are awarded as part of a prize, winners and his/her/their companion/s must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Frequent flyer points will not form part of any prize where flights are awarded. All prizes are subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers where applicable. Where accommodation forms part of a prize, winners may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.

If for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of a prize) at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.

Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming any voucher are not included. Any unused balance of any voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of a voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher.

The use of the car awarded for the test drive in accordance with clause 13 is subject to Audi standard terms and conditions in relation to test drives and similar arrangements. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner and driver if applicable signs any such document as Audi may require prior to accepting the prize (including but not limited to a deed of release and indemnity). The driver must have a full and valid driver’s licence issued in an Australian State or Territory and meet the age requirement of 21yrs or over.. Any traffic infringements incurred during the loan period are the responsibility of the winner.  Winner must provide a minimum 6 weeks advance notice of their intention to redeem the prize. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize, including but not limited to additional petrol as required are the responsibility of the winner.  Prize must be redeemed by 19/12/11 and is subject to booking and availability.

The winners of the Audi Track Experience prize and his/her/their companions acknowledge that the hot lap element of the prize (“Activity”) is a dangerous activity that may result in injury or death, and participate at their own risk. The winner and his/her/their companions must: (a) attend, undergo and pass any appropriate training, briefings, required medical tests and other requirements of the Promoter and Activity organisers as determined by them in their absolute discretion; (b) not have any heart condition or history thereof, or other medical conditions (including pregnancy) that would make it dangerous to participate in the Activity; (c) not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol; (d) comply with all directions of the Promoter and Activity organisers at all times; and (e) wear all safety and other equipment required. The Promoter and Activity organisers, in their absolute discretion, at all times reserve the right to: (a) prevent any winner or his/her companion from participating in the Activity if, at any time, they reasonably believe that the winner or his/her companion poses a safety risk or for any other reason; and/or (b) cancel the Activity if the conditions are deemed dangerous. Prize must be taken by 31/12/2011 and is subject to booking availability. If the Activity is varied for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter it may not be rescheduled and no compensation will be offered.

If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

The Sydney Theatre Company ticket prizes are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or his/her companion/s) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.

Total prize pool value is up to $57,335. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

If the Audi Hamilton Island Reward prize is still unclaimed as at 12/08/11 an unclaimed prize draw will take place on 12/08/11 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority in order to award the prize. The winner will be notified within two (2) business days of the draw by phone and also in writing by email. The winner’s name will be published in The Australian on 15/08/2011.

A draw for any remaining prizes if unclaimed prizes may take place on 8/11/2011 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if an event is cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) use of a prize / participation in a prize or attendance at a prize event.

As a condition of accepting the prize, a winner (and his/her/their companion/s) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.

The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law.  Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
