DEFINITIONS
‘Entrant’: An entrant is any person(s) employed by a registered real estate agent who refers market
contracts for the supply of electricity or natural gas with AGL through Direct Connect.
1.0 HOW TO ENTER
1.1 Entrants must be employed by a registered real estate agent in NSW, VIC, SA or QLD and sign up
customers to AGL through Direct Connect
1.2 Each entry must comply with the following:
(a) Each entry must be in English
(b) Each entry is completed when the entrant has faxed or completed an online application for Direct
Connect to action a market contract with AGL.
1.3 Numerous entries per entrant are permitted
2.0 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
2.1 Only Australian residents over the age of 18 are eligible to enter the competition.
2.2 Direct Connect reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who has tampered with the entry
process, or who submits an entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
2.3 It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure the contact details provided are correct. Direct
Connect is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information either caused by website
users or by any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this
competition. Direct Connect assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption,
deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction
or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
3.0 Promotion commences 8/06/2011. Entries close 19/07/2011 11:59 AEST.
4.0 This competition is a game of chance
5.0 The winning entries will be randomly drawn via computer generation on 01/07/2011 and
19/07/2011 at Lumo Energy – 565 Bourke Street, Melbourne, VIC, 3000 at 2.00PM AEST.
6.0 Winners will be notified by phone or email and published in the local newspaper.
7.0 The first valid entry drawn on 1 July and 19 July 2011 will each win a $1600 Samsung 50 inch LCD
TV and a Coles gift voucher to the value of $50.
8.0 The total price value is $3300. The prize value is subject to change after printing.
9.0 Any costs in excess of the value of the prize (including GST) and all ancillary costs associated with
redeeming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. Direct Connect shall not be liable for a prize
that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
10.0 In the event that any of the first drawn winners have not claimed their prize by 22/08/2011
11.59PM AEST, a second draw will be conducted by Direct Connect. The second draw shall be
conducted 23/08/2011 2.00PM AEST at the same premises as the original draw.
11.0 Prizes are not redeemable for cash
12.0 If a prize (or part of a prize) is not available, Direct Connect reserves the right to substitute the
prize (or part of a prize) with a prize to the equal value.
13.0 The Promoter, Direct Connect, its related companies and associated agencies and contractors
shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or
loss of profits), expense, damage, any personal injury or death suffered or sustained as a result of or
connection with this promotion, or the use of any prize except for any liability that cannot be
excluded by law, in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.
14.0 We will take reasonable steps to preserve the security of your personal or sensitive information
and other information or data collected by us. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet
can be guaranteed as perfectly secure. As a result, although we strive to protect your personal and
sensitive information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us. You
transmit such information at your own risk.
15.0 Prize winners must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in any promotional activity (such as
publicity and photography) related to the winning of a prize free of charge and consent to the
Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.
16.0 The Promoter is Direct Connect (ABN 20 110 316 973) of Level 15 Shierlaw Avenue,
