GENERAL
Your entry into the “Awesome Aussies wanted for Extraordinary Winter Adventure in Banff” Contest (the “Contest”) is subject to the Contest Rules, the following Legal Terms and Conditions, and all other guidelines, terms and conditions stated elsewhere on this site and all applicable laws, ordinances and regulations, including but not limited to all laws respecting intellectual property, trademarks, copyrights, rights of privacy, pornography and defamation. By entering the Contest, you accept and agree to be bound by the Contest Rules and these Legal Terms and Conditions. Banff Lake Louise Tourism shall be the administrator of the Contest.

WINNER SELECTED BY BANFF LAKE LOUISE TOURISM AND PADDY PALLIN
A panel of judges from Banff Lake Louise Tourism and Paddy Pallin will select the winning entry. The winner will receive a Trip for Two from either Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney, Australia to Banff, Alberta, Canada, including economy airfare, transfers in Alberta and hotel accommodations as selected and provided by Adventure World. All decisions of the judges of the Contest will be final and binding. Prize winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. The prize winner is responsible for all items not specified in inclusions including spending money and items of a personal nature including but not limited to meals, phone calls, drinks etc. Any break in journey costs will be at the expense of the prize winner. Any costs relating to alterations to confirmed details, where applicable, will be at the expense of the prize winner.
ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to Banff Lake Louise Tourism and Paddy Pallin facebook fans who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and are residents of Australia. No purchase or payment necessary to enter or win.
The “winner” and their travel partner must be available and able to travel to Banff, Canada, November 13-28, 2011. If the “winner” and their travel partner are unable to travel during this time, the prize will be forfeited, the “winner” will not be eligible for any compensation of any kind and the prize will be awarded to a different contest entrant.

The “winner” and their travel partner must participate in a Paddy Pallin photo shoot during their trip to Banff and must consent to the use of their name, likeness, appearance, voice and images in Paddy Pallin promotional materials and catalogs in all media in perpetuity and shall receive no compensation for the use of their images, names and likenesses. If the “winner” does not consent to this use or does not participate in the photo shoot, the prize shall be forfeited and the winner will receive no compensation from any of the promotional partners.
The contest is void where prohibited by law, or where the registration or filing requirements of any state or local jurisdiction have not been complied with. The contest is not open to employees of Banff Lake Louise Tourism, Paddy Pallin or its promotional partners.
DEADLINE
Fan photos will be accepted starting 9:00 a.m. EST on Monday, June 6, 2011. All entries must be submitted online by noon EST on Monday, August 15, 2011.
SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY
Post your photo on the contest tab of the Banff Lake Louise Tourism or Paddy Pallin facebook pages and add the required information regarding the entrant. Contest is limited to one entry per person. We invite fans to share photos; however, we will consider only the first photo posted to the wall for the contest.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
Banff Lake Louise Tourism and Paddy Pallin will announce the contest winner on Monday, August 22, 2011 via the Banff Lake Louise Tourism and Paddy Pallin Facebook pages. The Winner will be notified via email or phone to confirm eligibility and ability to travel on the specified dates. The contest sponsors reserve the right to conduct a telephone interview with the prospective winner prior to awarding the prize and may choose to revoke the prize and select a different winner based on that interview.
TERMS
All photos must be the original work of the entrants and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. If the photo contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the photo, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit use of the photo by Banff Lake Louise Tourism, Paddy Pallin and their promotional partners.
Banff Lake Louise Tourism and Paddy Pallin reserve the right to remove fan photos from the facebook page and contest consideration if the content of the photos does not promote the partners’ core values, including content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate.
Each entrant agrees and grants Banff Lake Louise Tourism, Paddy Pallin and their promotional partners (The Canadian Tourism Commission, Travel Alberta and Adventure World) permission to make available and display/perform and otherwise distribute entrants’ names and photo submission in all media in perpetuity without compensation. Except where legally prohibited, submission of an entry into this contest constitutes permission for Sponsors to use the entrants’ names, photograph, likeness, and testimonials, in printed, broadcast media, or new media, in perpetuity, in any manner they deem appropriate in connection with promoting the photo submission itself or this contest, without further compensation in connection with this contest or the prize awarded.
By participating in the contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Banff Lake Louise Tourism, Paddy Pallin, their promotional partners and employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your participation in this contest, including infringement of intellectual property rights. Banff Lake Louise Tourism, Paddy Pallin, their promotional partners and employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from this contest.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter may also use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages if the winner has opted in to receive this information. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
