Depicting life in a female prison, Cell Block H was an immediate hit. This set takes in drug smuggling, blackmail, theft, sieges and even a dog smuggled into prison. It’s never ending drama of course with standout performances from Fiona Spence and Val Lehman.
The 8 disc set includes a mammoth 32 episodes running in continuous order from episode 97 to episode 128. It’s definite must see viewing for any fan of classic Australian Television.

The song was later featured as a B-side on punkabilly group The Living End's breakthrough EP Second Solution/Prisoner of Society which earned some radio play on alternative radio stations, in particular Triple J.
