How Do I Enter?

It's easy! Just create your own Auctiva commercial, upload it to YouTube and share the link on our Facebook wall. See our Official Contest Rules. Commercials can be as funny or serious as you'd like. We just ask that you keep it clean.
Can I Enter?


Anyone who "likes" Auctiva on Facebook and is at least 18 years old can enter.
Need Some Inspiration?

Check out the commercials Auctiva employees came up with.

1. How to enter: To enter Auctiva’s “Lights, Camera, Auctiva!” contest simply “like” Auctiva on our Facebook Page, upload your Auctiva commercial to YouTube and share the link to your video on our Facebook wall. Directors may be as creative as they wish, but videos should not be offensive in any way. Videos deemed offensive will be removed without notice.

2. Drawing: Auctiva staff will select one grand-prize winner, one first-place winner, four runners-up and a “wackiest entry.” Auctiva’s Facebook fans will vote for one “People’s Choice” winner. All winners and runners-up will be announced on Auctiva’s Facebook page, the Auctiva Education tab and Auctiva’s Twitter account on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at 4 p.m. PST. Winning entries will also be posted on the Auctiva Blog.

3. Contest period: Auctiva’s “Lights, Camera, Auctiva!” contest runs from Aug. 1, 2011, through Sept. 30, 2011.

4. Prizes:

Grand Prize

One grand-prize winner will receive six months on Auctiva’s Diamond plan—a $1,079.70 value—$100 worth of AliExpress coupons, a $100 credit toward Auctiva Shipping Insurance, a custom eBay listing template or custom logo design, and an Auctiva gift bag filled with Auctiva-branded gear.

The Diamond plan includes unlimited use of Auctiva’s premium eBay listing tools, a fully featured and customizable Auctiva Commerce Store, a custom domain, $50 AdWords credit, an implementation coach to help with store setup and more. See Diamond plan details.

AliExpress coupons earned may be used in any transaction on the AliExpress.com wholesale sourcing marketplace, which features more than 9 million products, ranging from DVDs and electronics to home décor and toys to jewelry and apparel.

First-place Prize

One first-place winner will earn six months on Auctiva’s Platinum plan—a $599.70 value (see Platinum plan details)— a $100 credit toward Auctiva Shipping Insurance, a custom eBay listing template or custom logo design, and an Auctiva gift bag filled with Auctiva-branded gear.

People’s Choice

One “People’s Choice” winner will be chosen by Auctiva fans on Facebook, based on the number of “likes” a video receives. This contestant will earn one year on Auctiva’s Unlimited plan, which includes unlimited use of all of Auctiva’s listing tools, 1 GB of image hosting and unlimited listings. (See Unlimited plan details). They’ll also earn one year of premium live chat and phone customer support, a $50 credit toward Auctiva Shipping Insurance, and an Auctiva gift bag filled with Auctiva-branded gear.

Wackiest Entry

The “Wackiest Entry” will earn a 10-minute call with Auctiva founder and CEO Jeff Schlicht, 1 pound of Starbucks coffee beans stolen from the Auctiva kitchen, and an Auctiva gift bag filled with Auctiva-branded gear.

Runners-up

Four runners-up will receive an Auctiva gift bag filled with Auctiva-branded gear, like a mug, T-shirt, hat and more.

Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded, with no substitutions. Prizes will only be released to verified winners. Winners who do not claim their prizes within 30 days of being announced give up rights to their prizes.

5. Eligibility: No employees of Auctiva Corp., or any of their immediate family members, are eligible to enter Auctiva’s “Lights, Camera, Auctiva!” contest. Contestants must be at least 18 years of age and like Auctiva on Facebook.

6. Right to terminate, suspend or amend: Auctiva reserves the right to terminate or amend this contest at any time and without prior notice if any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Rules.
