1. Entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of conditions. Duckoff Online Travel reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 or over as at 01/10/11, who become a registered member of duckoffonlinetravel.com.au during the promotional period. A member is someone who has successfully signed up via
www.duckoffonlinetravel.com.au and complies with the Terms & Conditions of Duckoff Online Travel Pty Ltd. This competition is open to all new members who sign up within the promotional period 01/10/11 – 15/12/11.
3. Cancellation of Duckoff Online Travel membership during the promotional period and up to and including the date of draw will void entry.
4. Members of Duckoff Online Travel are automatically disqualified from the competition if they create new accounts for themselves.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all memberships. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any member for tampering with the entry process or for submitting a membership which is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
6. Promotion commences 01/10/11. Entries close 4pm AEST on 15/12/11.
7. The Noosa holiday winner is the first valid entry randomly drawn from the pool of members signed up during the promotional period. This prize includes the following:
*5 nights accommodation for 2 people in a One Bedroom Suite at Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort & Spa.
*Buffet breakfast for 2 people daily
*Prize voucher is valid until 30April 2012, subject to availability & excluding peak periods. Prize voucher must be presented to resort upon arrival. Prize voucher is not transferable and monies in leiu of.
8. Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
9. Total prize value is $1445 AUD.
10. This competition is a game of chance.
11. The draw will take place at the offices of Duckoff Online Travel Pty Ltd 15/12/11 at 4PM AEST.
12. The winner will be notified by email on 16/12/11 and their name will be published the Quack Blog on
www.duckoffonlinetravel.com.au on the same day.
13. The winning decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Prize voucher terms and conditions apply as above.
14. In the event of any prize/s being unclaimed by 20/12/11, further draw/s will take place to determine replacement winner/s at the same address on 21/12/11 at 4PM AEST. Winner/s in any replacement draw will be notified by email on 22/12/11 and their name/s will be published on the Quack Blog on
www.duckoffonlinetravel.com.au on the same day. All reasonable steps will be taken to notify the winners.
15. Prize values are the recommended retail values as provided by the suppliers and are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize (including but not limited to any tax implications, additional fuel costs or any other causes that are beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster) that may arise from the prize winnings.
16. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, or any other technical failures, including but not limited to any injury or damage to participants’ or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, postpone, or amend this competition.
17. The Promoter as well as its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with using any prize. This excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
18. The Promoter as well as its associated agencies and companies are not liable if the prize is not available as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter including because of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster) or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which affects the execution of the prize or the security of the winner. Winner and his/her companion are responsible for any applicable insurance excesses that may cover those reasons.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, and/or if necessary to provide an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as an original prize or prizes, subject to any written directions under applicable State or Territory legislation.
19. By entering the promotion, each entrant consents, in the event they become the winner, to the Promoter publishing the entrant’s name and locality on
