1.All information on how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2.This competition is run by the Council of the City ofSydney(“the City”).
3.The City reserves the right at any time to disqualify any individual who the City reasonably believes has breached any of the terms and conditions or engaged in any lawful or other improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition.
4.The City is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or for any fault in the equipment utilised in this competition which may result in error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alterations of entries.
5.To the extent permitted by the law, the City will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or inconsequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the competition or accepting or using any prize.
ELIGIBILITY
6.Entry is only open to residents of NSW aged 18 years or over. Employees of the City and their families are not eligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
7.All entries are made using an online submission form at
www.sydneychristmas.com.au OR
www.sydneychristmasshopping.com.au.
8.Only one entry can be made per person.
9.The winner will be selected at random by City staff. This decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.All entries become the property of the City ofSydney. The City ofSydneycannot return submitted entries and entrants are advised to keep a copy.
11.Entries are open from 9am on Monday 24 October 2011 and close at 5pm AEST on Friday 25 November 2011. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
USE OF ENTRIES
12.Entries submitted as part of the competition will become the property of the City and by entering this competition, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that City of Sydney will use this information and/or image in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to the relevant State lottery department and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the City at the address below:

JUDGING AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
13.Three winners will be randomly selected and will be notified by phone on Monday 28 November 2011 by 5pm. The winner’s names will be published on the City of Sydney Christmaswebsite
www.sydneychristmas.com.au on Tuesday 29 November 2011. Each individual whose name is placed on the submission form (online) (x3) will be issued with the prizes.
PRIZES
14.There will be three winners, and each prize pack contains:
•Two nights at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth in a classic room (must be redeemed by 24 December 2011). Upon issue, the City holds no responsibility if lost or stolen. The vouchers are subject to availability at time of booking. Use of accommodation is stated in the Terms and Conditions on the voucher issued.
•A $500 gift card for the Queen Victoria Building Sydney (QVB). Upon issue, the City and QVB holds no responsibility for gift cards lost or stolen. Use of gift card is stated in the Terms and Conditions on the gift card issued.
Total maximum value of entire prize package: $3,150.00.
15.Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
16.The prizes must be taken as follows
Sofitel Rooms: by 24 December, 2011, QVB Vouchers as specified on the voucher.
17.The City shall not be liable for any loss or damager whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
18.In the event that for any reason the prize winner does not redeem their prize by 10 December 2011 the prize will be forfeited.
