To celebrate the exclusive 'Matisse: Drawing Life" exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art, The Courier-Mail is giving you the chance to win a trip to Tahiti, one of the places that inspired Matisse's works.

Major prize includes: Return flights for two to Tahiti, five nights accommodation at the Hilton Bora Bora, two complimentary exhibition tickets to 'Matise: Drawing Life' gift pack. Plus, five runner-up packages including two exhibition passes and a merchandise pack containing a copy of the Matisse publication.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

WHO CAN ENTER?

Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open only to all residents of Queensland.  Must be able to show upon request proof of residency e.g. Drivers Licence.

Employees and their immediate families of News Queensland and GoMA and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.  Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

HOW TO ENTER | MAIL IN

The competition commences on November 26, 2011 at 00.01 (AEST) and concludes with last mail received on December 2, 2011. (“the Competition Period”)

To enter the competition, entrants must complete an original entry coupon from The Courier-Mail on Saturday, November 26, 2011, with two (2) original tokens adhered to entry form, Token 2 published in The Sunday Mail on November 27, 2011, Token 3 published in The Courier Mail November 28, 2011 and including their full name, address, postcode, daytime phone, mobile and email address, and then post the completed entry coupon in a standard sized envelope to: The Courier-Mail WIN A TRIP TO TAHITI Competition, Locked Bag 8881, Brisbane QLD 4001.  Multiple entries will be accepted but each entry must be received in a separate envelope.  All post entries must be received by last mail at News Queensland by Friday, December 2, 2011.

Entries via the internet or computer generation are invalid and will not be accepted.

Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years before entering the competition.

PRIZES

There is one (1) major prize winner and five (5) runner-up winners.

MAJOR PRIZE
 One (1) major prize winner will be drawn randomly, from all correct entries received during the promotional period in accordance with clause 3 or clause 4, on Monday December 5, 2011 at the office of News Queensland, Cnr Mayne Rd & Campbell St, Bowen Hills Qld 4006. The winner will need to contact the Queensland Art Gallery within two (2) weeks of the competition announcement and flights and accommodation will be booked by the Queensland Art Gallery. The one (1) prize winner will receive the corresponding prize package as set out below:


 - Return economy flights to Tahiti - travel valid between 1st January 2012 and 1 December 2012. Flights to be booked by Queensland Art Gallery and tickets are non-transferrable

- Five (5) nights accommodation at The Hilton, Bora Bora – valid between 1st January 2012 to1 December 2012

- A Matisse inspired day trip for two (2) people to one of the Tuamotu Islands

- Two complimentary exhibition tickets

- A ‘Matisse: Drawing Life’ merchandise pack to the value of $100

- Subscription to The Courier-Mail Saturday Edition – 6 months

- $1,000 spending money to be provided in the form of a cheque

 

TOTAL PRIZE VALUE APPROX $10,000.00 (excl. GST)

 

RUNNERS-UP PRIZE

Five (5) runner-up prize winners will be drawn randomly, from all correct entries received during the promotional period.  The five (5) runner-up prize winners will each receive the corresponding prize package as set out below:

<!--[if !supportLists]-->4.2       <!--[endif]-->The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.  In the event that any prize item is unavailable; the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.  Any taxes (other than GST, if any) which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners. The prize is strictly as stated above. All other costs are the responsibility of the prize winner.
