From executive producers Barry Josephson (Bad Boys, Men In Black) and Hart Hanson comes the darkly amusing TV drama Bones, inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs.
Bones Season 6 will be released on DVD and Blu-ray along with Season 1-6 in a box set on 9th November from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, including all 23 episodes.
Bones follows the lives of Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel) with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains.
Law enforcement calls her in to assist with murder investigations when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned, or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless.
Brennan has been teamed with Special Agent Seeley Booth, a former Army sniper who mistrusts science and scientists when it comes to solving crimes.
Brennan and Booth clash both professionally and personally, but there is chemistry between them.
The first episode of Season 6 begins with the team regrouping in Washington D.C. after a 7 month break.
They are called in to help solve a controversial case regarding the remains of a young boy.
Throughout the season we see the return of familiar characters, including the Gravedigger, as more mysterious cases are investigated.
Relationships change, ending with Brennan keeping a secret from Booth that will change their lives forever.
With over 1000 minutes of entertainment packed into Season 6 this is definitely one to add to the DVD & Blu-ray collection of any discerning crime drama fan.
