To enter, simply buy any Plumm product, and complete the entry form below stating in 50 words or less what wine you will be drinking at Christmas and why.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents over the age of 18 years. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of these Conditions of Entry and the Promotion is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
4. All Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter can rely on these Conditions of Entry even if the Promoter only learns of a person's ineligibility after the Promoter has awarded a prize to the ineligible person. Return of the prize or payment of its equivalent value to the Promoter may be required by the Promoter if this occurs.
5. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: The promotion commences at 9:00am (AEDST) on 21 November 2011 and concludes 11:59pm (AEDST) on 23 December 2011.
6. How to Enter: To participate in the competition and be eligible to win, entrants must, during the Promotional Period
a) Purchase a box of Plumm glassware or a Plumm decanter during the promotional period, from any Myer store
b) Complete the entry form - that is given with your purchase or available online at
www.plumm.com - in full, which includes providing details such as (but limited to), the entrant’s first and last names, current address, telephone number and date of birth. Entrants must also answer the competition question in 50 words or less. Competition question – what wine will you be drinking in what Plumm glass at Christmas and why?
c) Provide a copy of your Myer purchase receipt by no later than last mail 23/12/11 and send it in a stamped envelope to (entrant is responsible for postage costs):

7. Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database, not at the time of post by the entrant.
8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
9. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
10. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each entry must be substantially unique; and (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
11. Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce original proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of the entry that is unable to be substantiated through original purchase receipt and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
12. Purchase receipt must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry.
13. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
14. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail.
15. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on:

16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. Winner will be notified by telephone, email or postal mail on Monday 16 January 2012. The Winner will be published in The Australian on Friday January 20th.
18. The best entry, as determined by the judges, will win the prize of a private 3 hour glass tasting (during restaurant lunch time service) with Matt Skinner at a restaurant that will be advised to the winning participant on Monday 16th January 2012. The prize also allows the winning participant to invite a guest, over the age of 18, to participate in the wine glass tasting, as well as including Matt Skinners flights to the winners capital city and accommodation.
Terms and conditions of the prize for the best entry:
The prize must be used at a mutually convenient time for the winning participant, Matt Skinner and the restaurant by the end of lunch service on Monday 31 December 2012.
The Restaurant chosen to conduct the wine and wine glass tasting is at the promoter’s discretion only. It is a condition of this promotion that the winning participant accepts that the restaurant will be within a 30 km radius of the city centre.
Travel to the restaurant is at the customers expense and must be arranged by the contestant
The date for the prize must be booked by the 31 September 2012 and taken no later than 31 December 2012. Failure to redeem the prize by this date will amount to forfeiture of the prize by the Winner.
The prize does not include any additional expenses, travel costs, decorations, accessories or any other ancillary costs incurred by the Winner and their party companion.
The Prize may be redeemed by the Winner only. No relative, partner or friend of a Winner may claim any part of a Prize, apart from being a guest at the Winner’s party at the Winner’s address, nor may the Winner transfer any part of a Prize to any other person.
The Prize is not redeemable for cash or for any other products or services.
The winning participant will not be given contact details for Matt Skinner.
The winning participant and their guest will be asked to provide proof of age prior to participating in the wine and wine glass tasting. Should the winning participant and/or their guest not meet the age requirements of this promotion then the promoter reserves the right to cancel the promotion.
It is the responsibility of the Winner to advise of any dietary requirements including food or any other allergies. Acceptance of the Prize will be deemed acceptance of such risk that certain ingredients may not be suitable and meet the requirements of the Winner and his/her companion. The Promoter will endeavour to accommodate where possible.
19. The Winner and guest must not be intoxicated prior or during the lunch and wine tasting. If the Winner or guest is intoxicated at any point of the lunch, the remainder of the Prize will be forfeited. No compensation will be paid in lieu of the prize (or part of the prize).
20. The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy alcohol responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Guidelines to Reduce Health Risks from Drinking Alcohol. 22. If the Prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
23. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash
24. A prize will only be awarded following all validation and verification requirements of the Promoter being met to its satisfaction.
25. All costs associated or arising in connection with the Prize is the responsibility of the respective prize winner, unless otherwise advised.
26. Entrants can only enter the Promotion in their own name.
27. Participation in the Prize is subject to such other terms and conditions as may be imposed by those involved in providing other goods or services included in the Prize (Third Party Terms).
28. All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter. Entries will not be returned to any entrant. As a condition of entering into this promotion, each entrant licences the Promoter to use their entry in any media for an unlimited period for any reason including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original literary work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty. Entrants consent to any use of their entry which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
29. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
30. The Promoter may disclose Entrants' Personal Information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Promotion and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.
31. Entrants can request access to update or correct their Personal Information held by the Promoter and may request that they not receive further Promotional or marketing communications from the Promoter by contacting the Promoter at the address above. Should an Entrant's contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the Entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter.
32. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, and in the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
33. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a Winner or entrant; or (e) use of the prize.
34. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter may also use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
35. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
36. The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
