The Promoter for this competition is Comparison Pty Ltd ABN 67 145 691 532.
Entry is open to all Australians who are over the age of 18 years as at 2/12/2011.
To enter, eligible entrants must satisfy two requirements. Firstly, they must be registered members at
http://www.comparison.com.au/. Secondly they must have performed any one of the following activities at Comparison; either uploaded and tracked a warranty, or rated and reviewed a product
Any ratings and reviews submitted will be screened for suitability of publication on Comparison by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any ratings and reviews which are deemed unsuitable for publication. Accordlingy, for the purposes of this competition, these ratings and reviews shall not be regarded as an activity performed, and so shall not satisfy the second requirement.
These activities will be judged as having been completed as at 9:59am on 28/2/2012, and performance of any one of the activities by this time will satisfy the second requirement of entry. Satisfaction of the second requirement is conditional upon the satisfaction of the first requirement.
There is a limit of one entry per person.
Incomplete or incomprehensible entries due to any circumstance be it technical or otherwise, will be deemed invalid.
After signing up, the entrant must remain a member of Comparison Pty Ltd for the promotional period in order to be eligible to win and must complete one of the nominated activities before the expiration of the promotional period.
Employees of the Promoter and its agents and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
The winner will be announced in the week following the draw on the Comparison Pty Ltd website.
The prize will be dispatched to the winner as soon as we have received their postal details, the prize will be sent by 13/3/2012.
The prize is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
There is one (1) prize for this competition. The prize draw will take place at Comparison Pty Ltd, 5 Napier Street, NSW 2070. The prize draw will be held at 10am AEST on 28/2/2012. At the draw, the first valid entry drawn will be awarded one (1) iPad 16GB valued at $579 AUD.
The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
The winner agrees to the use of their name, image and photograph/s for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright of any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
In the event that the Promoter is unable to supply the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value.
The Promoter accepts no responsibilities for late entries or entries not received for any reason.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning the prize.
The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition.
The Promoter's decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. Entry into this competition will be deemed to be an acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
If the prize is not claimed by 6/3/2012, the Promoter will hold a second chance draw for the unclaimed prize at 10am on 7/3/2012. All participants whose entries were previously accepted will be eligible to take part in the second chance draw.
