Conditions of entry
1.Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2.Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18years and over.
3.Those persons ineligible to enter shall be employees, their immediate families and associated entities of the promoter or persons and entities associated with the promoter in the conduct of the business known generally as The Paint Place Group.
4.To enter, go to

www.paintplace.com.au, complete the entry form, including uploading an image of the room you'd like to makeover and tell us in 25 words or less “why your room deservs a makeover”.
5.Incomplete entries will be deemed ineligible and will be discarded. Multiple entries will not be accepted.
6.This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on the uploaded image of the letterbox and their literary merit. The judges’ decision on eligibility to enter and quality of entry is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not transferable nor exchangeable.
7.The promotion starts Thursday 29 December 2011 at 00:01 AEST and concludes Tuesday 31 January 2012 at 17:00 AEST. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges. Judging will begin on Monday 6 February 2012 at 11:00 AEST with the winner announced on 13 February 2012. The winner will be notified by mail using the contact details provided in their entry.
8.The top 5 entries as deemed by the judges will each win one $200 Paint Place gift card. All costs associated with redeeming this prize are the responsibility of the winners. The total prize pool is $1000.00
9.The promoter reserves the right to request the winners to provide proof of identity to their local Paint Place store upon collection of prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter.
10.The promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any prizes damaged in transit.
11.The promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever howsoever caused, that is suffered (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or consequential losses) or for personal injury that is suffered or sustained by the winners of a prize or any other person or otherwise suffered or sustained in connection with participating in this competition, as a result of taking or making use of any prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the promoter or any person associated with any of them, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
12.All entries become the property of the promoter. All entrants acknowledge by accepting these terms and conditions and entering into the competition that they assign all intellectual property rights attaching to their entry to the promoter to be used by the promoter as they shall choose in any promotion, advertising or other material to be produced by the promoter and they do acknowledge that they shall have no further claim to any licence or other fee for the use of any intellectual property rights then claimed by the entrant to the contents of their entry.
13.The winner does indemnify the promoter for any loss it may suffer of whatsoever kind should it be established that the winner has breached the copyright of any other entity and any claim is made as against the promoter by the lawful copyright owner.
14.The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition is governed by the privacy notice.
