You may know Carrie Brownstein through her involvement in the influential Olympia, Washington band Sleater Kinney. You may know her from her love of birds. I know her as the captain of my favourite baseball team's arch nemeses. But it doesn't really matter how you know Brownstein. What's most important is that you get along to the Zoo where her latest band, Wild Flag, play their first Brisbane show Australia. Their self-titled album of last year was one of the best of 2011. That fact that Blank Realm are supporting makes this a 'must go' gig.
