Entry is open to residents of Australia, aged 18 and above only Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and Tourism Tasmania (ABN 58 800 480 938) and their related corporate bodies are not eligible to enter this promotion.
3.The Promotion commences at 9.00 am AEST on Monday, 19th March 2012 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Monday, 30th April 2012 (‘promotion period').

5. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
6. There will be one prize. The judging will take place at 3pm (AEST) on Friday, 4th May 2012 at News Digital Media, Level 25, 175 Liverpool Street, Sydney, 2000. All eligible entries received between 19th March 2012 and 30th April 2012 will be entered into the competition. The winner will be notified by phone and in writing on Tuesday, 8th May 2012.
7. The Grand Prize contains:
•A holiday for 2 people to Tasmania, including airfares from any capital city, 7 nights' accommodation twin share and 7 days car rental.
•Conditions include: Prize is subject to availability. Prize winners are recommended to book both air and hotel/s as early as possible to ensure travel availability. The winner must co-ordinate with Tas Vacations to tailor the package to where they want to go and stay. Accommodation is based on silver class cabins. Activities are not included in the holiday and will need to be paid for by the winner. Prize is valid for travel between 01.06.12 and 31.08.12. Car hire is available for collection from Hobart or Launceston and includes up to 200km per day, additional 100km per day can be purchased for $9 per day. Standard insurance excess applies but may be reduced for an additional $18.80 per day. If collecting the vehicle from an airport location a standard flat fee of $35 applies. Free local hotel deliveries are available. One way rentals are available but will incur a $35 flat fee. Flights are economy class, subject to availability with Virgin Australia. Prize is non-transferable.
•Total prize pool is valued up $5,000. If for any reason the winner is unable to accept the prize as stated, the winner will forfeit the prize and no compensation will be given in lieu. The winner must confirm his/her ability to accept the prize by 5.00pm on Thursday, 10th May 2012.
8.The Promoter reserves the right to rejudge in the event of any entrant not claiming a prize. If any prize remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will conduct further judging, as required, at the same time and place as the original judging on Friday, 11th May 2012. The winner, if any will be notified by phone and in writing on Monday, 14th May 2012.
9.Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.The winner agrees to the use of their name, image and photograph/s for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
11.If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the promotion), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
12.Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information either caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of administration of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
13.The Promoter collects information about you to include you in the promotion and, where appropriate, to award prizes and may also use the information to assist it in improving its goods and services and to contact you, including by electronic communication methods (including email and SMS) in the future with special offers. The Promoter may share your information with its Australian related companies who may contact you with special offers. If the entrant selects the opt in box at the time of registration, the Promoter may also share your information with other persons or entities that assist it in running promotions or with other companies who provide prizes for promotions or reader offers.
14. By entering the promotion, each entrant agrees in addition to the above uses, that the Promoter may disclose entrants' personal information, to State and Territory lottery departments, the winners' names will be published as required under the relevant lottery legislation and the Promoter may publish or cause to be published the winner's names and suburb in any media.
15. The winner releases the promoter and the prize sponsor from any and all causes of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including legal expenses), cost or charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by the winner as a result of any loss or damage to any physical property of the winner, or any injury to or death of any person arising out of, or related to, or in any way connected with the promotion or the prize. The winner and his or her guest must sign and return any liability release and indemnity provided by the promoter and/or the prize sponsor as a condition of a prize being awarded. Failure to return the signed releases and indemnities will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and the selection of another winner.
