1. Key requirements and key dates
1.1 Entrants and prize recipients must be residents of Australia only.
1.2 Entrants and prize recipients must be at least 18 years of age.
1.3 Start time: 3:00pm (Sydney time)
1.4 Start date: Thursday 12 April 2012
1.5 Closing time: 11:59pm (Sydney time)
1.6 Closing date: Thursday 10 May 2012
1.7 Judging time: midday (Sydney time)
1.8 Judging date: Thursday 7 June 2012
1.9 The name of the Winner will appear on http://www.thevoice.com.au/kickstart between Friday 8 June and Friday June 15.
2. Prizes
2.1 There will be one (1) winner (“Winner”). The Winner will receive one (1) of the six (6) prizes listed below based on which prize the Winner nominated to have the chance to win in their entry form (“Prize”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Winner will only receive the Prize that they nominated to receive in their entry form. The other remaining five (5) prizes will not be awarded to any entrant.
2.2 The Winner will receive one (1) of the following prizes based on their selection in their entry form:
A. A prize (“London Prize”) consisting of five day course at the London Business School, including:
 Return economy class airfares to London from the Winner's nearest Australian capital city (including taxes);
 Return airport transfers;
 Seven (7) nights’ accommodation for the Winner in a 4 star hotel, standard room, in London CBD with breakfast included (to be chosen at the discretion of the Promoter);
 Enrolment for the Winner in a five day business course at London Business School; and
 AUD$1000 spending money.
The specific course shall be determined from the Winner’s choice of a selection of available courses presented to the Winner by the Promoter or the

If the Winners’ first preference of course is not available the course will be determined by the Promoter or the agency selected by the Promoter to manage the travel bookings of the Winner. The Winner can travel up to 12 months from the Judging Date (subject to availability). Travel must be booked within two months of Winner notification.
The Winner will also win:
 Tickets to the live broadcast of the final episode of the Voice (2012) in Sydney for the Winner and one (1) guest (aged 18 years or over) on Sunday June 17 2012 or Monday June 18 2012 (the exact date to be notified by the Promoter).
 The Voice meet & greet experience (whereby the Winner and their guest will meet one of the coaches (as selected by the Promoter) and their relevant contestants from the Voice);
 Two (2) x return economy class airfares for the Winner and their guest from the Winner’s closest Australian capital city to Sydney (if the Winner lives in Sydney, this part of the prize is forfeited);
 Return airport transfers from Sydney domestic airport. If the winner is from NSW a private car will be organised within 100KM’s of Sydney CBD.
 One (1) nights’ accommodation in a twin share standard room to accommodate the Winner and their guest at the Sofitel Wentworth hotel in Sydney CBD.
Total value of the London Prize is up to AUD $25,350.
B. A prize (“Cannes Prize”) consisting of VIP Trip to the 2013 Cannes Film Festival (currently scheduled for May 2013), including:
 Return economy class airfares to Nice, France, from the Winner's nearest Australian capital city (including taxes);
 Airport meet and greet and return airport transfers in a private sedan;
 Seven (7) nights’ accommodation for the Winner in a 4 star Hotel, standard room, in Cannes with breakfast included (to be chosen at the discretion of the Promoter);
 Access to two Cannes Film Festival Screenings with private return transfers to the Winner’s hotel;
 Entry for the Winner to an exclusive VIP Cannes Film Festival After Party including private return transfers;

The Cannes Prize must be redeemed and used by the Winner during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival which is currently scheduled in May 2013.

 Tickets to the live broadcast of the final episode of the Voice (2012) in Sydney for the Winner and one (1) guest (aged 18 years or over) on Sunday June 17 2012 or Monday June 18 2012 (the exact date to be notified by the Promoter).
 The Voice meet & greet experience (whereby the Winner and their guest will meet one of the coaches (as selected by the Promoter) and their relevant contestants from the Voice);
 Two (2) x return economy class airfares for the Winner and their guest from the Winner’s closest Australian capital city to Sydney (if the Winner lives in Sydney, this part of the prize is forfeited);

 Tickets to the live broadcast of the final episode of the Voice (2012) in Sydney for the Winner and one (1) guest (aged 18 years or over) on Sunday June 17 2012 or Monday June 18 2012 (the exact date to be notified by the Promoter).
 The Voice meet & greet experience (whereby the Winner and their guest will meet one of the coaches (as selected by the Promoter) and their relevant contestants from the Voice);
 Two (2) x return economy class airfares for the Winner and their guest from the Winner’s closest Australian capital city to Sydney (if the Winner lives in Sydney, this part of the prize is forfeited);

The NYC Prize must be redeemed and used by the Winner between 13 – 20 September 2012 (unless agreed otherwise with the Promoter).

Total value of the NYC Winner Prize is up to AUD $22,150.
The maximum value of the Winner’s Prize is up to AUD$25,350.
2.3 The Prize selected by the Winner does not include (unless otherwise specified):
transfers within Australia, travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, spending money, taxes not included in the price of the air ticket, ground transportation or any other costs of a personal nature not stated. Any applicable taxes/surcharges/fees relating to flights are included as part of the Prize.
2.4 The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
2.5 All Prize items are valued inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in item values. The Prize (in whole or in part) is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. In the event that any Prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize item of equal or greater value. Any taxes (other than GST, if any) which may be payable as a consequence of a Winner receiving the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
3. Who may enter
The only persons who may enter and be awarded a Prize are residents of the place specified in Condition 1.1, who have attained the age specified in Condition 1.2 (if an age is specified in that condition), who are not (i) employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of its agencies involved

3927749_with this competition, or (ii) members of the immediate family of such employees and contractors.
"Immediate family" means spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee/contractor.
“Promoter” means ninemsn Pty Ltd ABN 33 077 753 461.
4. Entrants bound by these Terms and Conditions
Entry for and/or participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by an entrant and/or participant.
5. How to enter
To enter, entrants must:
(a) Read and accept these Terms and Conditions;
(b) Visit www.thevoice.com.au/kickstart (“Promotion Website”);
(c) register their details (full name, address, date of birth, daytime telephone number and email address, among other things);
(d) select one of the six (6) prizes they would prefer to win;
(e) In 100 words or less, write a pitch detailing their career passion and why they should win that prize; and
(f) Upload an image demonstrating their career passion to support their pitch. Images should be jpeg or any flat image file type of no more than 3MB. For best results images should be portrait in orientation. Images should be edited to the specifications stated within the Promotion Website
6. Selection of Winners
6.1 Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. A shortlist of 48 finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges from Australian Super and the Promoter and each of their appointed third party agencies and published on the Promotion Website. Members of the public can then vote during the period from midday on 14 May 2012- 11:59pm on 6 June 2012 (“Voting Period”).
6.2 At the time and date specified in Conditions 1.7 and 1.8, the Winner will be the shortlisted finalist who has accumulated the most user votes (submitted by members of the public) during the Voting Period. In the

3927749_event that there is a tie between one (1) or more shortlisted finalists for the highest number of votes during the Voting Period, the Winner will be decided by a judging panel (with the Winner the entrant whom the judging panel deem has entered the most creative, relevant and original entry).
6.3 Each entry will be individually judged by public users based on literary and creative merit, with users voting for their preferred entry using these criteria. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
6.4 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the Promoter, breaches any provision of these Terms and Conditions and/or does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
6.5 Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
7. Special conditions of entry
7.1 All entries must be submitted by a person and any automated entries, fraudulent entries or entries by persons using an alias shall be invalid.
7.2 Entrants warrant and agree that their entry, including all content of the entry, the uploaded image and the “pitch” (collectively referred to as the “Content”), will at all times be:
a. the original independent creation of the entrant;
b. exclusively and solely owned by the entrant (including the copyright therein); and
a. free of any claims, including copyright or trademark claims by other parties.
7.3 Entrants warrant and agree that their entry and the Content (in whole or in part):
a. have not been published previously;
b. have not won prizes or awards in other competitions;
c. do not and will not infringe any third party rights (including intellectual property rights or rights of privacy, publicity or confidentiality);
d. are not unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, profane, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, politically

3927749_incorrect, violent, abusive, insulting, scandalous, inflammatory, harassing, threatening, racist, ageist, sexist, objectionable with respect to religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication or objectionable;
e. will not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity.
7.4 Entrants warrant and agree that:
a. they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others' computer or communication systems;
b. they have the full authority to grant to the Promoter the rights referred to in these Terms and Conditions;
c. they are fully responsible for their entry and the Content.
7.5 The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, determine whether an entry will be posted, or remain posted on the Promotion Website (and/or AustralianSuper website) in its absolute discretion. Notwithstanding any decision by the Promoter to post material on the Promotion Website, the terms and warranties set out in these Terms and Conditions continue to apply. The Promoter reserves the right to remove any entry or Content from the Promotion Website (and/or AustralianSuper website) without prior notice in its sole discretion, including if notified that such material breaches any provision of these Terms and Conditions.
7.6 It is a condition of the awarding of the Prize that the Winner must, if requested to do so by the Promoter, sign and return any Affirmation of Eligibility to Enter, Ownership of Entry, and Release and Compliance statements provided to the Winner by the Promoter. The failure to return the signed statements will result in the entitlement to the Prize being forfeited and the selection of another winner.
7.7 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of this competition, who acts in violation of these Terms and Conditions, who acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, or who submits an

3927749_entry that is not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s decision in relation to all aspects of this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7.8 It is a condition of the awarding of the Prize that the Winner must, if requested to do so by the Promoter, AustralianSuper or any of their appointed third party agencies:
7.8.1 provide AustralianSuper, the Promoter or appointed third party agency written blogs or articles about their Prize winning experience; and
7.8.2 participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the Prize. The winner may be required by the Promoter to participate in a photo, video and/or film session, and other interviews (including without limitation, the time at which the Prize is awarded to the Winner), and the Winner acknowledges that the Promoter, AustralianSuper or any appointed third party agency has the right to use such publicity photos, videos and/or films in any medium (including, without limitation, the internet) and in any reasonable manner it sees fit.
8. Limitations on entry
Entries in the competition are limited to 1 (one) per person.
9. Duration
This competition starts at the Sydney time and date specified in Conditions 1.3 and 1.4. Entries must be received by the Sydney time and date specified in Conditions 1.5 and 1.6.
10. Conditions of travel and Prize acceptance
10.1 The Winner is free to select any person (above the age of 18) as their guest (if the Prize is for two people and for the purposes of the live broadcast of the final episode of the Voice (2012)).
10.2 The Winner is responsible for their entry, and the entry of their guest, into the country included in their Prize and all countries en route. This

3927749_includes but is not limited to the holding of any necessary passports and visas.
10.3 No compensation will be payable if the Winner or their guest is unable to use a Prize as stated for whatever reason, including denial of entry into the country included in the Prize or any other country.
10.4 The travel suppliers, including the airline and hotels, will be chosen by the Promoter (at the Promoter’s discretion).
10.5 Travel must be completed for the Prize by the dates specified in condition 2.2 (if applicable) (unless agreed otherwise with the Promoter).
10.6 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for variations in the Prize value. The components of the Prize may alter for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control (such as cancellation of the Voice television show or Cannes Film Festival).
10.7 The components of the Prize must be taken together as a single trip to be booked by the Promoter and cannot be separated into different holiday vacations.
10.8 Any part of the Prize that is not taken for any reason is forfeited.
10.9 Travel and accommodation are for the Winner and their guest (if guests are part of the Prize) travelling together.
10.10 The Prize cannot be exchanged for other travel or accommodation at other destinations.
10.11 Frequent flyer points will not form part of the Prize.
10.12 Each Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the respective products and services which constitute the Prize.
10.13 The Winner may be required to present a credit card at the time of accommodation check-in.
10.14 Once the booking is confirmed, changes to the booking may incur a fee, including GST plus supplier charges.

3927749_10.15 The Winner and their guest may be required to sign a liability waiver form to receive the Prize. Failure to sign the liability waiver form may result in the Winner forfeiting the Prize.
10.16 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner and their guest comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and Prize supplier requirements.
10.17 All entrants acknowledge that the Promoter can rely on these Terms and Conditions even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility to enter after the Promoter has awarded a Prize to the ineligible person. Return of a Prize or payment of its equivalent value to the Promoter can be required by the Promoter if this occurs.
11. No quality, etc, representations/exclusion of liability
The Promoter:
11.1 makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as Prizes;
11.2 accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to the Prize (and any element of the Prize) in transit;
11.3 accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected registrations; and;
11.4 is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the Prize Winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying the Winner.
11.5 If the Prize involves entry to an event and/or transport and accommodation, the Winner and their guest must sign and return any liability release provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors as a condition of the Prize being awarded.
11.6 Clause 11 does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which are not able to be excluded under applicable Australian consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent

3927749_permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the Prize supplied again.
12. Winner notification and publication
The Winner will be notified by telephone and/or email, using the details provided in their entry, and the name and suburb of the Winner will be published as specified in Condition 1.9.
13. Use of Headings
Headings and subheadings are inserted for convenience only and shall not be used to interpret the text of these Terms and Conditions in any way adverse to an interpretation in favour of the Promoter.
14. Ownership of entries
14.1 All entries and the Content (and the intellectual property rights therein) become and remain the property of the Promoter and are hereby assigned to the Promoter absolutely as sole and exclusive owner. The owner of any copyright in the Content consents to any use of the Content which may otherwise infringe the owner’s moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). 14.2 Entrants acknowledge and agree that their entry (namely their name, pitch and accompanying image) may be published by the Promoter on the Promotion Website for the purpose of enabling the public to vote on their favourite entry, and/or by AustralianSuper on the AustralianSuper website for promotional purposes. Entrants also acknowledge and agree that their entry (namely their name, pitch and accompanying image) may be shared by the public via email, Facebook and Twitter.
14.3 The Promoter and AustralianSuper reserve the right to use the Content of winning entries for the purpose of future promotions.
14.4 The entry and Content may also be used by the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition in submissions for industry awards.

15.1 If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity, reputation or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
15.2 The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries.
15.3 The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
15.4 Caution: Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or the information on a website, or to otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of this competition, may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16. LIABILITY, INDEMNITY AND RELEASE
16.1 In consideration for the Promoter accepting the entrant’s entry, the entrant releases and forever discharges the Promoter and AustralianSuper from all claims that the entrant may have or may have had but for this release arising from or in connection with:
16.1.1 any entrant’s participation in this competition (including the entry itself);
16.1.2 the Winner’s acceptance and/or use of the Prize; and
16.1.3 the Winner’s guest’s acceptance and/or use of the Prize.

3927749_16.2 The entrant indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoter and AustralianSuper to the extent permitted by law in respect of any claim by any person (including but not limited to other entrants in this competition), arising as a result of or in connection with:
16.2.1 the entrant’s participation in this competition;
16.2.2 the entrant’s non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions (including a breach of any warranties contained in these Terms and Conditions);
16.2.3 the entrant’s (and/or their guest’s) acceptance or use of the Prize; and/or
16.2.4 the entrant’s (and/or their guest’s) acts or omissions whilst at any of the Prize location(s), venues or sites (including travel to and from such locations, venues or sites).
16.3 In this Condition 16, “all claims” means and includes any action, suit, proceeding, claim, demand, damage, penalty, cost or expense however arising.

References to AustralianSuper means AustralianSuper Pty Ltd, ABN 94 006 457 987, Level 33, 50 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
While the Promoter has chosen to advertise this competition via Facebook, this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. As such, entrants fully release Facebook from any liability associated with this competition.
18. Privacy
18.1 The Content provided within an entry (including the entrant’s full name, address, age, telephone number and email address) are provided to the Promoter and will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition. While this competition may be advertised on Facebook, the Content is not being provided to Facebook.
18.2 The Promoter may disclose Winners’ and the Winners’ guests’ personal information to staff, contractors and agents for the purposes of prize fulfilment and to assist in conducting this competition, to communicate

3927749_with entrants for the purposes of this competition, and to State and Territory gaming authorities (if applicable).
18.3 The Promoter and/or AustralianSuper may use the personal information of entrants that have “opted-in”, for the purposes of promotional and marketing activities (including future promotions and marketing activities), including electronic direct marketing.
18.4 The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Entrants can access their personal information by contacting the Promoter’s Privacy Officers at Level7, 264 George St, Sydney 2000 NSW.
19. Entire conditions and Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement of the parties relating to the entry and the conduct of the competition.
The laws of Australia apply to this competition to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia
