ITEM 5: PROMOTION
REGISTRATION DATES AND
TIMES
Registrations will open at 05:00pm on Friday 20 April 2012 and will close at
06:00pm on Wednesday 25 April 2012 (“Registration Period”).
The Promoter reserves the right to extend the Registration Period at its own
discretion.
ITEM 6: PROMOTION
CONTESTING DATES AND
TIMES
Contesting will occur between 08:00am and 09:00am on Friday 27 April 2012
at SAFM in the Richard Marsland Lounge (128 Unley Road, Greenhill Road,
Unley SA 5061).
(“Promotional Period”).
An individual day during the Promotional Period is known as a “Contesting
Day”.
The Promotional Period may be amended at the Promoters discretion.
ITEM 7: ENTRANT
RESTRICTIONS
Entry is available to permanent residents of:
- South Australia
- Entrants (i.e. parent/guardian) must be aged 18 years and over who
have a baby aged between 6(six) and 12 (twelve) months.
A person is ineligible to participate in the Competition and redeem any
prizes if they have won a prize valued at $10,000 or more in any competition
run by the Promoter 6 months prior to their Entry in this Competition.
ITEM 8: METHOD OF ENTRY During the Registration Period listeners will be encouraged to register their
details on the SAFM website (“Entry”).
Entrants may be asked to provide the following information without
limitation:
- Their name
- Their baby’s name
- Their age
- Their baby’s date of birth
- Their baby’s gender.
ITEM 9: JUDGING DETAILS The Promoter will judge all entries received during the Registration Period
and will select a minimum of nine (9) entrants to participate in the event.
The judging of the entries will take place at SAFM Studios (128 Greenhill
Road, Unley SA 5061) during business hours on each day during the
Registration Period. The successful entries will be selected at the Promoter’s sole discretion on the basis of their suitability to enter and attend the Event.
All Entrants must be parents/guardians with children aged (6) six to (12)
twelve months old – this is a mandatory condition for eligibility to enter and
be part of the promotion and to win the prize. This age group has been
selected to ensure an even playing field between contestants.
Prize winners will be notified by telephone to inform them of Contesting
Dates and Times.
The Event location will be SAFM Richard Marsland Lounge (128 Greenhill
Road, Unley SA 5061) on Friday 27 April 2012 between 08:00am and 09:00am
- may be subject to change. Should any Finalist be unavailable to attend
the Event, they will forfeit their chance to win a Prize.
There will be a (30) minute time limit on the race. Should no winner be
determined in this time frame, all entrants will receive a share of the prize
pool.
The Event will consist of the nine (9) finalists, as well as Austin Bob Pearson
(Hayley Pearson’s son). All ten (10) baby finalists will be placed at a start line
and be required to crawl to the finish line (length of crawl TBC).
It is mandatory that all baby finalists crawl from the start to finish line. If they
walk, they will be disqualified from the race and ineligible to win the prize.
Parents/guardians must be firmly behind the start and/or finish line and
unable to interfere on the race track. If there is interference, the baby finalist
and parents/guardian will be disqualified from the race and ineligible to win
the prize.
The safety of each baby is paramount. Should any of the baby’s experience
discomfort or become distressed for any reason the parent will be required
to attend to their baby and in doing this they will automatically forfeit their
chance to win the prize.
Parents/guardians are unable to interfere with other children unless consent
has been given by the other child’s parents/guardians.
The first baby finalist to crawl from the start to finish line will be the prize
winner.
Austin Bob Person is ineligible to win the prize.
If Austin Bob Pearson is the first baby to cross the line, the prize will be
awarded to the second baby to cross the line.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into

CONDITIONS
Should any Finalist be unavailable to attend the Event, they will forfeit their
chance to win a Prize.
The promoter reserves the right to use any material created throughout the
Promotional Period for the purposes of marketing and publicity and no fee
will be awarded for such use.
All decisions are at the complete discretion of the Promoter and no
correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
Parents and legal guardians will be required to sign a Release and Indemnity
before taking part in the promotion.
