Promotion period
1. The Table Games 2012 Promotion (“Promotion”) will be held at
Treasury, commencing at 2pm on Sunday 3 June 2012 and finishing at
the conclusion of 9pm Prize Draw on Thursday 28 June 2012
(”Promotion Period”). All times are listed in Australian Eastern
Standard Times.
2. Entry draws will be held at 2pm, 2.15pm, 2.30pm, 2.45pm, 3pm,
3.15pm, 3.30pm, 3.45pm, 4pm, 4.15pm, 4.30pm, 4.45pm, 5pm,
5.15pm, 5.30pm, 5.45pm, 6pm, 6.15pm, 6.30pm, 6.45pm, 7pm,
7.15pm, 7.30pm, 7.45pm, 8pm, 8.15pm, 8.30pm, 8.45pm, 9pm,
9.15pm, 9.30pm, 9.45pm and 10pm (each an “Entry Draw”) every
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during the Promotion
Period (each an “Entry Draw Day”) in the Absolute Rewards Lounge,
Level 2 at Treasury (“Entry Draw Location”).
3. A total of Twelve (12) prize winners will be drawn on the Main Gaming
Floor Stage, Level 1 at Treasury (“Prize Draw Location”) during the
Promotion Period. Prize draws will be held at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm (each
a “Prize Draw”) on Thursday 7, 14, 21 and 28 June 2012 (each a
“Prize Draw Day”), with one winner drawn at each Prize Draw.
Entry requirements
4. Participation in the Promotion is open to all persons who:
(a) are 18 years of age or older;
(b) are members of the Absolute Rewards Loyalty program
operated by the Promoter and who have a current Absolute
Rewards Membership card (“Membership Card”); and
(c) are not under a self exclusion order, an exclusion direction or
other direction under Part 10 of the Casino Control Act 1982
(Qld).
People who meet the above conditions and continue to satisfy the
conditions during the Promotion Period are referred to as “Eligible
Entrants” and will be entitled to enter the Promotion.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any person entry in the
Promotion.
Earning entries
6. At each Entry Draw a ticket representing each Table Game within the
Treasury Casino that Absolute Rewards Members are playing at the
time of the Entry Draw (with their Membership Card handed to the
croupier) will be included in a barrel at the Entry Draw Location, and
five (5) tickets (each a “Selected Table”) will be randomly selected by
a representative of the Promoter.
7. Following each Entry Draw the Selected Tables from that Entry Draw
will be excluded from the barrel (and will not be able to be drawn) for
the following three (3) Entry Draws.
8. Eligible Entrants who are participating in rated Table Game (by
providing their Membership Card to the Table Game croupier upon
commencement of play) on a Selected Table at the time of an Entry
Draw will receive one (1) entry (“Entry Ticket”). Entry Tickets can only
be included in any upcoming Prize Draws in the week that Entry Ticket
was earned. Entry Tickets will be colour coded for the relevant Prize
Draw as follows:
a. Blue: For entry in the Prize Draws on Thursday 7 June ;
b. Green: For entry in the Prize Draws on Thursday 14 June;
c. Pink: For entry in the Prize Draws on Thursday 21 June;
d. Purple: For entry in the Prize Draws on Thursday 28 June;
9. Eligible Entrants must place their Entry Ticket in the barrel at the Prize
Draw Location (“Barrel”) on the Prize Draw Day noted on their Entry
Ticket. Eligible Entrants must place their Entry Ticket in the Barrel
during the following times to enter the relevant Prize Draw/s:
a. Between 12noon and 6.45pm on Thursday 7 June to enter the
7pm Prize Draw on Thursday 7 June
b. Between 12noon and 7.45pm on Thursday 7 June to enter the
8pm Prize Draw Thursday 7 June
c. Between 12noon and 8.45pm on Thursday 7 June to enter the
9pm Prize Draw Thursday 7 June
d. Between 12noon and 6.45pm on Thursday 14 June to enter the
7pm Prize Draw Thursday 14 June
e. Between 12noon and 7.45pm on Thursday 14 June to enter the
8pm Prize Draw Thursday 14 June
f. Between 12noon and 8.45pm on Thursday 14 June to enter the
9pm Prize Draw Thursday 14 June
g. Between 12noon and 6.45pm on Thursday 21 June to enter the
7pm Prize Draw Thursday 21 June

10. The Barrel will be emptied after the 9pm Prize Draw on each Prize
Draw Day and all Entry Tickets will be discarded.
Prize Draws
11. At Each Prize Draw a representative of the Promoter will draw one (1)
Entry Ticket from the Barrel at the Prize Draw Location. The name and
membership number of the Eligible Entrant noted on the first valid
Entry Ticket randomly drawn from the Barrel (“Selected Entrant”) will
be announced at the Draw Location and throughout Treasury. The
Selected Entrant must be “present at the Prize Draw” pursuant to
Condition 13.
12. The Promoter cannot guarantee that announcements can be heard in
all parts of the Draw Location or throughout the remainder of Treasury.
13. To be deemed “present at the Prize Draw”, the Selected Entrant must
present themselves to a Treasury representative at the Draw Location,
Main Gaming Floor, Level 1 within three (3) minutes of their name
being announced and provide suitable identification in accordance with
Conditions 21 or 22 within five (5) minutes of presenting themselves.
Selected Entrants are not permitted to send a proxy to claim a Prize.
Selected Entrants that are ‘present at the Prize Draw’ are “Identified
Selected Entrants”.
14. At each 7pm and 8pm Prize Draw if the Selected Entrant satisfies
Condition 13 and these Conditions of Entry, that Identified Selected
Entrant will be eligible to receive a Prize. If the Selected Entrant does
not satisfy Condition 13 or does not otherwise satisfy these Conditions
of Entry, three (3) re-draws will take place immediately at the Draw
Location. Each Selected Entrant drawn in a re-draw under this
Condition 14 will have three (3) minutes to present at the Draw
Location and confirm their identity within five (5) minutes of presenting
themselves in accordance with Conditions 21 or 22 in order to claim a
Prize. Selected Entrants are no permitted to send a proxy to claim a
Prize. If after three (3) re-draws an Eligible Entrant who satisfies these
Condition 13 and these Conditions of Entry is not found the Prize will
be awarded to the Selected Entrant drawn first at that Weekly Prize
Draw and that Selected Entrant will not be required to satisfy
Condition 13 (“Default Winner”). The Default Winner so selected will
be notified of their win by phone or mail in accordance with their
membership details held by the Promoter. The Default Winner will be
required to collect their Prize from the Main Gaming Floor level 1 at
Treasury and provide identification in accordance with Conditions 21
or 22 at the time of collection.
15. If a Selected Entrant at a 9pm Prize Draw on Thursday 7, 14, 21 and
28 June does not satisfy Condition 13 or does not otherwise satisfy
these Conditions of Entry, the 9pm Prize Draw will be declared closed
and the Prize for that Prize Draw will jackpot to the 9pm Prize Draw on
Thursday 28 June 2012. The Identified Selected Entrant or Default
Winner of the 9pm Prize Draw on Thursday 28 June 2012 who satisfies
these Conditions of Entry will win the Prize for that Prize Draw plus any
prize which has jackpotted in accordance with this Condition 15.
16. If at the 9pm Prize Draw on Thursday 28 June 2012, a Selected
Entrant does not satisfy Condition 13 or does not otherwise satisfy
Conditions of Entry, redraws will take place immediately at the Draw
Location until a Selected Entrant who satisfies Condition 13 and these
Conditions of Entry is found and the Prize will be awarded to that
person (the person whom the Prize is awarded in accordance with this
Condition 16 will be the “Prize Draw Winner”). Each Selected Entrant
drawn in a re-draw under this Condition 16 will have three (3) minutes
to present at the Draw Location and confirm their identity within five (5)
minutes of presenting themselves in accordance with Conditions 21 or
22 in order to claim a Prize. Selected Entrants are no permitted to send
a proxy to claim a Prize.
17. An Identified Selected Entrant, Default Winner or Prize Draw Winner
will be eligible to win a Prize (“Winner”).
Prizes
18. The Winner of each Prize Draw, subject to compliance with Condition
13 and these Conditions of Entry, will win $5,000 cash (“Prize”)
19. Winners of each Prize Draw may choose to take their prize in the form
of cash or a cheque or a combination of both.
20. The total prize pool for the promotion is $60,000 cash.
Identification
21. A Selected Entrant must produce valid acceptable identification to a
representative of the Promoter to confirm their eligibility to win a prize.
Valid identification acceptable to the Promoter will be either one form of
valid photographic identification (Passport or Australian driver’s
licence) with an undamaged clearly visible photograph, or two other
forms of non-photographic identification acceptable to the Promoter.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to waive or vary the identification
requirements at its sole discretion in circumstances where the identity
of a Selected Member is determinable by a representative of the
Promoter without the assistance of these or any other form of
identification.
General
23. Directors, management and employees of the Echo Entertainment
Group of companies (including any related body corporate as defined
in the Corporations Act 2001) and their immediate families, which has
the meaning given to that phrase in the Charitable and Non-Profit
Gaming Rule 1999 (Qld) are not eligible to participate in this
Promotion. The Echo Entertainment Group comprises, but is not limited
to the businesses of The Star, Jupiters Hotel and Casino, Treasury
Casino and Hotel and Jupiters Townsville.
24. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged or redeemed
for alternate prizes. Any tax liability or implication which attaches to a
Prize is the responsibility of the Selected Member claiming that Prize.
25. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered
or claimed (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss
or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or
damage) by an entrant in relation to entering or participating in this
Promotion or taking or using the Prizes offered except where that loss,
damage or injury was caused by breach of these terms and conditions
by the Promoter or the wilful or negligent acts or omissions of the
Promoter. To avoid any doubt, the Promoter shall not be liable for loss
caused by technical and mechanical malfunction which is outside the
control of the Promoter.
26. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions on the eligibility of
persons to enter and validity of entry and prizes, shall be the
responsibility of the Promoter.
27. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and
conditions make no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms
and conditions are unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a
decision regarding such situation or issue which is not inconsistent with
these terms and conditions.
28. While the Promoter intends to conduct the Promotion as offered, the
Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion or a
prize offered in the Promotion if it can no longer continue the Promotion
or offer a Prize due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.
29. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or non-received entries.
The Promoter does not guarantee the continuous or fault-free
operation of the entry processes, including entry validating and
receipting processes, during the Promotion.
30. Any entrant who tampers, or attempts to tamper, with the entry
processes or tampers, or attempts to tamper with the processes used
for the draws or who submits an entry which is not valid in accordance
with these terms will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of
the Promoter.
31. Winners may be asked to participate in publicity or advertising at the
request of the Promoter. Participation in any such publicity or
advertising is at the sole discretion of the relevant Winner. The names
of Winners will not be published without their consent except as
announced at the Draw Location.
32. Participation in the Promotion indicates acceptance of the terms and
conditions governing the Promotion. These terms and conditions will
be available at the Customer Service Desk at the Treasury Casino
throughout the Promotion Period.
33. By participating in this Promotion, each entrant’s entry/entries becomes
the property of the Promoter and may be used for the Promoter’s
business analysis and marketing purposes in accordance with the
Promoter’s privacy statement which can be viewed at
www.treasurybrisbane.com.au. Privacy law allows entrants to access
their personal information held by the Promoter in certain
circumstances. Failure to supply the personal information requested
may result in an entry being deemed invalid.
34. It is the responsibility of all Winners to determine if they have won a
Prize in this Promotion at the Sovereign Room Desk. Whilst Treasury
will use all reasonable endeavours to contact Winners, it is the
Winner’s ultimate responsibility to claim their Prize.
35. The Promoter cannot guarantee that announcements can be heard in
all parts of the Draw Location or throughout the remainder of Treasury.
