Ohh me, ohh my, Museum Victoria has come up trumps again with a fantastic School Holiday Program at the Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum and Scienceworks and we've got tickets to giveaway to some of the standout events and activities.

MELBOURNE MUSEUM GIVEAWAY

Mini Meso Family Fun at Melbourne Museum

Escape the cold and pop into Melbourne Museum for some Mesopotamia themed family fun. Be entertained by a family presentation, recreate the mighty wall reliefs of Assyria, explore the family trail throughout the exhibition or hire the kids an audio guide for a fun exhibition commentary.

Welcome to Mesopotamia Family Presentation
Introduce the family to the wonders of Mesopotamia with this special twenty-minute family presentation in the Museum Theatre. Journey back through time and learn about the rise of city living in Mesopotamia.
Date: 30 June to 15 July 2012

Time: 11.30am, 1pm, 2pm

Cost: Included with museum entry

Mesopotamia Family Fun
Learn all about Mesopotamia through our free hands-on activities for families and kids. Help to recreate some of the mighty wall reliefs of the Assyrian palaces from craft materials.
Date: 30 June to 15 July 2012

Time: 11am- 3pm

Cost: Included with museum entry

Family Trail
Look out for the special child-friendly labels designed to help young learners discover an ancient world of kings and legends, monsters and lions in the exhibition’s Family Trail. Suited for 5-9 year olds.
Date: Daily

Time: 10am – 5pm

Cost: The Family Trail is included in the exhibition entry ticket

Kids Audio Guide
Experience the exhibition with a special audio tour just for kids. This unique tour provides a great way for families to learn more about the many things that the Mesopotamians did that we still do today.
Suited for 7-12 year olds.
Date: Daily

Time: 10am – 5pm

Cost: $7 per handset     


THE PRIZE

We have two family passes to The Wonders of Ancient Mesopotamia to giveaway! The tickets include all of the school holiday activities as well as entry to the rest of Melbourne Museum.

THE PRIZE

We have one family pass to see the Japanese Kamishibai Storytelling next week and one family pass to see the Musical Mudcakes the week after! Both passes include entry to the exhibitions at Immigration Museum as well as other school holiday activities.
