TERMS & CONDITIONS NW Issue 28 â on sale 2 July, 2012 WIN! Tickets to Splendour In The Grass 1. Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. 2.
Entry is only open to Australian residents who are 18 years and over who are able to travel on 27 July 2012 to 29 July 2012. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. 3. Promotion commences 00:01 AEST 2 July, 2012
and closes midnight AEST on 8 July, 2012. The judging will take place at Promoterâs premises, 54 Park Street, Sydney NSW 2000 on 9 July, 2012. The judging will be done by a panel of judges appointed by the promoter. The winners will be notified by phone or mail using contact details provided in their entry. 4. Limit one (1) entry permitted per person. 6. This is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit of the answer to the question provided. The judgesâ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. 7. The Entrant warrants to the Promoter that the entry submitted is an original artistic work of the Entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third parties. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered in the event that the Splendour in the Grass Festival 2012 is postponed, cancelled, rescheduled or relocated for any reason whatsoever. 14. The winner (and their companion) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. 15. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses including but not limited to travel to and from the Splendour in the Grass Festival, travel to and from the departure point from the winnerâs place of residence and all other travel costs. These costs become the responsibility of the winner. 16. The Two (2) flights must be utilized at the same time, for the same travel dates, to the same destination. 17. The winner may extend their stay on the trip at the winnerâs expense. 18. Transport to and from Departure point including but not limited to additional Domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. Prize also excludes medical expenses, items of a personal nature, beverages, optional tours not outlined, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights, room upgrades or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize other than those specified. These costs and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Any extension to the duration of the prize is at the winnerâs sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking. For the removal of doubt, taxes for domestic travel are included in the prize winning domestic airfares provided by the Promoter. 19. All prize items are valued inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in item values. The components of the Prize may alter for reasons beyond the Promoterâs control. The Prize is not, nor any component thereof, transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. No components of the Prize can be exchanged for other travel or accommodation at other destinations. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value. The prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
