The Dark Knight Rises on July 19, and Asus are looking to get in on the hype.
The Transformer maker is giving away movie passes with every consumer purchase of the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 (RRP $799) and a chance to win Dark Knight Rises merchandise prize packs, valued at a cool $1000.
The epic conclusion in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises sees Batman played by Christian Baleface off against Bane (Tom Hardy) and the enigmatic Catwoman (Anne Hathaway).
The Dark Knight Rises opens in cinemas nationally this Thursday.
The promotion, starts tommorrow and will run for duration of three weeks.
The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 Android tablet with bundled keyboard dock is selling for $799 32GB/ $899 64GB.

Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and claim The Dark Knight Rises™ movie and Exclusive The
Dark Knight Rises™ Movie Merchandise Prize Packs valued at $1000 each form part of these
Terms and Conditions of offer. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of
these Terms and Conditions.
2. Offer is only open to residents of Australia. Employees and the immediate families of the
Promoter and its agencies (including but not limited to Asus’ resellers) associated with this
promotion are ineligible.
3. To be eligible, consumers must purchase one of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Series
(TF101) or Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Series (TF201) for a redemption of 2 adult
movie tickets to The Dark Knight Rises™ at participating cinemas valued at RRP $38.00
between 18th July 2012 and 5 August 2012 (inclusive). All redemptions must be received by
7th August 2012 or until tickets last. Asus will provide 1000 tickets for redemption.

purchase, enter the Serial Number of their TF201 device and postal details to eligible be

through Regular Post. Participants are also eligible to enter the 1 or 3 Exclusive The Dark

6. Redemption will be issued within 7-10 working days of the proof of purchase being
received and validated. The Dark Knight Rises™ movie passes are issued by Asus Australia
Pty Ltd pursuant to a license from Warner Brothers and managed by Asus Australia Pty Ltd.
The Dark Knight Rises™ is a registered trademark of Warner Brothers. Redemption will
allow 2 Adult Movie tickets to The Dark Knight Rises™ and movie passes can only be used
when The Dark Knight Rises™ is playing in participating cinemas. Movie passes cannot be
used on Saturdays after 5.00pm, public holidays or on Tuesdays. Movie passes are not valid
at Village Cinemas Gold Class, VMAX or Digital 3D, Reading Gold Lounge, Event Cinemas
Gold Class, Great Union & Birch and Carroll Gold Class, Hoyts Xtremescreen, Director’s Suite,
La Premiere, Hoyts Imax, AMC Cinelounge or Dendy Premium.
7. Multiple purchases permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one claim permitted per
specified purchase requirement; and (b) each claim must be submitted in accordance with
claim requirements.
8. Valid for eligible purchases made between 18th July 2012 and 5th August 2012 (inclusive)
for the listed retailer and authorised resellers of Asus products within Australia. All
redemptions must be received by 7th August 2012.
9. Proof of purchase (Tax Invoice) to be submitted at the landing page
http://event.asus.com/au/batman within 7 days of purchase date or until stocks last. The
purchase date is determined by the date printed on the Asus authorised reseller’s tax
invoice submitted as proof of purchase. Any claims or proof of purchase received after the
aforementioned 7 days will be deemed invalid.
10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims (including
contacting the place of purchase) and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in
accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Failure
by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of
those rights. The claimant agrees that if they have obtained the redemption, they will pay
back the Promoter the value of the redemption, if they subsequently return the product to
the place of purchase and seek a refund under any returns policy that the relevant reseller
may have.
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, damaged, stolen or misdirected
mail. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible claims will be deemed invalid.
12. Claimants must retain a copy of their tax invoice for all claims as proof of purchase.
Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute
discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture
of any right to redemption. The tax invoice must clearly specify the store of purchase, tax
invoice number and purchase date.
13. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in
its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
14. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. If the
claimant does not want personal information collected, they must state so in their
redemption claim, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use
the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending
electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Claimants should direct any requests to

17. If the claimant of offer is under the age of 18 years, the redemption will be awarded to

18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from this
promotion. Independent financial advice should be sought by the claimant.
19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its
officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal
injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of property); whether direct, indirect, special or
consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where
arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party
