Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Entry is open to Western Australian residents. However, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, their agencies and companies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter.
The competition commences on Saturday, 14th of July 2012 when Home in WA is scheduled and concludes on Friday 10th of August 2012 at 17.30 (WST).
To enter, participants may do so via the website www.aussieoutdoor.com.au or by post, and using the instructions, provide the following details:
• Their gender title and First name
• Last name
• Postal address, Email address
• Postcode 
• Age and contact phone number 
• In 50 words or less, tell us why you would like Aussie Outdoor Alfresco Café Blinds or ‘new’ Aussie Outdoor Window Blinds to the retail value of $5000.
There will be One winner drawn randomly from all entries
Entry into the competition is limited to one (1) entry per person. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who exceeds the entry limit.
Prizes cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Entrants must be over the age of 18 to enter.
Entrants must be residing in the Perth metro area, the Great Southern, Bunbury & Busselleton and Mandurah (within a 50km radius of the nearest Aussie Outdoor store).
The winner gives permission for the Promoter to photograph the finished patio area or window blinds and or photograph or film the winner accepting the prize at no cost to the promoter. The winner agrees to be filmed in a short interview for HOME in WA TV series, if required, and give a testimonial on how the Aussie Outdoor installation has enhanced their home.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winner to provide proof of identity and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
Entries must be entered/received by 17.30(WST) 10th of August 2012. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received by the Promoters database or by last mail on the same day. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason including delayed postal delivery.
A winner will be drawn on Monday the 13th of August 2012 at 9am. Winner may be posted notification, emailed and or notified by phone by 5pm on the 17th of August 2012.
The cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependant on the entrant’s individual Internet Service Provider.
By entering this competition, entrants accept and acknowledge full responsibility for their decision to participate in the prize. Entrants release the promoter and other organisers, their related bodies corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize.
Entrants hereby assigns to the Promoter all right, title and interest in and to all copyright in any material created pursuant to the entrants, winner’s or companions participation in any aspect of the prize (Works).
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
The winner will be notified by telephone, and may also be advised of their prize by letter or email. Winner will be published on www.aussieoutdoor.com.au and may be announced on HOME in WA at a time to be determined.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
If the prize is unclaimed by 5pm on Friday the 17th of August 2012 the prize will be forfeited and the same prize will be awarded during the next scheduled promotion. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result.
All entries become the property of the Promoter.
The Promoter collects personal information (phone number, address, etc) about you to enable you to participate in this promotion. The Entrant agrees to opt-in to our database for future email promotions and at any time the Entrant can unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the base of each email sent by Aussie Outdoor Alfresco Café Blinds.
No competition data will be shared with any other organization whatsoever.
The Promoter and associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to termination of HOME in WA the television show promoting this competition, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under State Regulation.
Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery or gaming departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery or gaming legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter.
The competition including these terms and conditions is governed by Western Australian law.
