2. Entry is open to residents of Australia over 18 years of age who are fans of the Purina Australia Facebook Fan Page (“Eligible Entrant”). Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences at 9am Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on Tuesday 24 July 2012 & closes at 5pm AEST on Tuesday 4 September 2012 (“Promotion Period”).
4. Follow these steps to send an entry:
a) Visit

c) Complete the entry form details including the pet survey questions, and your name and contact details.
5. Entry is limited to once per Eligible Entrant.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to the utilisation of techniques to make multiple entries or for submitting an entry which is not otherwise in accordance with these conditions of entry.
7. In the case that the Promoter finds evidence of tampering by the entrant in the entry process or the verification process, in addition to declaring any or all entries made by the entrant invalid, the Promoter may in its complete discretion preclude that entrant from participation in any or all future promotions of the Promoter.
8. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered in the major prize draw.
9. The following prizes will be awarded:
a. Major prize is an iPad with Wi Fi 16 GB (Black) 3rd generation valued at $539 recommended retail price (“RRP”). (Note: Apple is not a participant in, or a sponsor of this promotion.)
b. Minor prizes are:
i. 14 x SONY Digital Photo Frame (DPFC700) valued at $99 RRP;
ii. 20 x SHEDEZE tool pack medium size valued at $49 RRP;
iii. 30 x PETLIFE Grooming Packs valued at $44 RRP (which includes a combo brush, deodorising shampoo and gloss coat spray for a dog OR a soft brush, nail clipper, waterless shampoo for a cat.)
iv. 35 x TOTAL CARE Toy Packs valued at up to $26 RRP (which includes a cuddle cow, swinging pal and oinker for a dog OR a scamper mouse, fun fisher and squeaky mouse for a cat.)
10. The prize draw will be conducted at 10am on Tuesday 11 September 2012 at 6/106 Old Pittwater Rd NSW 2100. The first valid entry drawn will win the major prize and the next 14 valid entries drawn will each win a SONY Digital Photo Frame and the draw will continue awarding minor prizes in descending order of value until all 99 minor prizes have also been awarded.
11. All winners will be notified in writing within 48 hours of the prize draw. The major prize winner’s name and postcode will be published in the Australian on 24 September 2012 and all winners’ names and postcodes will appear at
www.purina.com.au/past-winners by that date.
12. Total prize pool is valued at up to $5,135 RRP.
13. Prizes are not transferable & cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stipulated.
14. Prize values are correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
15. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Nestlé Privacy Policy which can be accessed by visiting
www.nestle.com.au or calling 1800 005 510. An entrant’s details may only be used to contact the entrant about the Promoter, its related companies, their brands, special offers, samples, consumer research and other promotions if the entrant consents to that use, for example by ticking an “opt in” box on an entry form.
17. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. If a prize remains unclaimed by Thursday 22 November 2012, despite the Promoter’s best efforts to contact a winner, then subject to any written directions given by a relevant lotteries or gaming authority the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the original draw on that date to distribute any unclaimed prizes. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize of the highest value and the draw will continue awarding prizes in descending order of value until all unclaimed prizes have been distributed. Any winner in such a draw will be notified in writing within 48 hours of the draw. Any winner of a prize over $250 value will have their name and postcode published in The Australian on Monday 26 November 2012 and the name and postcode of all winners of such a draw will appear at
www.purina.com.au/past-winners by that date.
19. Each winner should look to the manufacturer of products and provider of services awarded as prizes for all warranties. However, these terms and conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void.
20. Subject to the approval process required by any relevant gaming or lotteries authority, in the event that any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.
21. Prizes will only be delivered in Australia and each winner should allow 28 days from the prize draw for delivery of their prize.
22. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
23. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion.
24. Entrants release Facebook from all liability in relation to the Competition. Entrants acknowledge that this Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and that any information provided by entrants is provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
