(That's today!)*Terms and Conditions – Website survey Competition1. Information on how to enter and prize form part of these Rules. By participating, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Rules. Entries must comply with these Rules to be valid.
2. Any costs associated with entering the competition, including accessing the website, are the responsibility of each entrant.
3. This competition is open only to people who are legal permanent residents of Australia aged 13 years or over. Employees, contractors, directors and officers of Fantastic Furniture Pty Limited (“Promoter”) and their parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors and franchisees and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) and those living in the same households of each are not eligible. If an entrant is under 18 years, they must have their parent or guardian's consent to enter this competition. The Promoter may request this consent in writing.
4. The competition commences at 3:00pm (AEST) on 03 July 2012 and all entries must be received by 4:00pm (AEST) on 31 July 2012. Entries received after the end date will not be considered. Multiple entries will be accepted although any individual entrant will only eligible to win one prize.
5. To enter the competition, Entrants must:
(a) go to
www.facebook.com/fantasticau and click on the link to the Website Survey;
(b) complete an answer the questionnaire including the last question of 25 words or less to the question “What website feature would you invent to make the Fantastic Furniture website the most fun, original and informative website? and
(d) complete all other requested contact details.
6. To be a valid entry must provide all requested details and all answers must be entered in English. All valid entries will be judged on the originality and creativity. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
7. Judging will take place at 12:00pm (AEST) on August 7 2012 at 10-28 Biloela Street, Villawood, New South Wales. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges selected from the staff of the Promoter.
8. The four (4) entries judged to have provided the most original and creative will win one Fantastic Furniture gift voucher worth $100 each. Winners will be announced on our Facebook page,
www.facebook.com.au/fantasticAU on August 8 2012. Winners will be contacted via email and telephone.
9. Total value of prizes is $400. Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Taxes on any prize awarded are the responsibility of the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
10. The judges’ decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to entering inappropriate responses (including but not limited to profanity and potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory language), submitting multiple entries that are not different or submitting an entry that is not otherwise not in accordance with these Rules. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered in any way.
11. Winner will be notified using their supplied contact details within two business days. If, for any reason, any winner cannot be contacted by 23:59 (AEST) on 1 November 2012, that winner will forfeit their prize and another winner may be selected.
12. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone or network or lines, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on a mobile network, or any combination thereof, or any other technical failures including any damage to entrant’s or any other person's mobile handset or computer related to, or resulting from, participation in this promotion or the downloading of any materials related to this promotion.
13. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
14. Entrants may only enter in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right to request all entrants to produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm any information submitted by the claimants in entering the promotion before issuing a prize. If the documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter or an entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s satisfaction within the time requested, that entry will become invalid.
15. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with using any prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
16. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The name, state of residence and photograph of any winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the prize.
17. Entrants warrant that their entry is original, does not infringe the intellectual property right of any third party and has not been previously published and/or been used to win prizes in any other competition.
18. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to include entrants in the competition and where appropriate award prizes.
If the personal information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the competition. By participating in the competition and opting in at the point of entry, each entrant also acknowledges that a further primary purpose for collection of entrants’ personal information by the Promoter is to enable the Promoter to use the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with information on special offers or provide entrants with marketing materials via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages (SMS (Short Message Service), MMS (Multimedia Message Service), IM (Instant Messaging) and email) or any other form of electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications channel whether existing now or in the future. The Promoter may share information with its Australian related companies and promotional partners who may contact entrants with special offers in this way. By entering the competition and opting in at the point of entry, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may use entrants’ personal information in this manner. Participants can gain access to, update or correct any personal information by contacting the Promoter at the address below. A copy of the Promoter's Privacy Policy in relation to the treatment of personal information collected may be obtained by contacting the Promoter.
