If you’re a loyal fan of Dusty Cartridge then you would have read our review of Indie Game: The Movie. If you didn’t, well we loved the absolute crap out of it. Why are we bringing this all up again?

Well, if you’re fortunate enough to reside within the land of Sydney, Australia then today is your lucky day. That’s because thanks to Possible Worlds, Sydney’s 7th Canadian Film Festival, we have one double pass to check out Indie Game: The Movie on the big screen.

It’s all set to take place at 6.30 Friday 17 August at Dendy Newtown. That’s not all though, because your ticket also gains you access to the coolest after party around, complete with playable versions of the games featured in the film (Fez, Braid, Super Meat Boy). You’ll even score yourself a free drink, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love free drinks?

You have just under a week to enter, and it’s all as simple as clicking a few buttons. Once the competition closes we will pick a winner at random and solidify the victory with a hit of our celebratory gong.


Possible Worlds, Sydney’s 7th Canadian Film Festival, brings 20 of the best new feature films and documentaries out of Canada to Australian screens this August. With a diverse and entertaining line-up that ranges from a roller disco comedy spoof to raw, erotic, rebellious indie film, there’s a little something for everyone at Dendy Newtown and Dendy Opera Quays between 13 and 19 August.
