I’ve always been very curious to try these products out so I was excited to finally get the chance, I received my tin in the Daisy design. All Steam Creams come in limited edition tins of varying and gorgeous designs containing 75g of product, very clever marketing since the magpies amongst us will keep coming back to purchase more tins to collect the different designs. The first thing I noticed when I opened the tin was the mild lavender scent, I have to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of lavender fragrances however this is gentle and not as strong and cloying as some lavender fragranced products that I have encountered in the past. The cream looks like it’s extremely dense and rich however it seems to just disappear once applied to my skin, I’ve been using this morning and night as my face cream and I’m loving it. The scent completely fades away not long after it’s applied and disappears completely which I’m very happy with. My skin has been very problematic, dry and suffering from break outs since I moved to Melbourne however since I started using this cream I feel like it’s finally getting the moisture it needs.
