Read clue 5 - "Naomi keeps hers on a bracelet".
And clue 1 says the desk is either for the leprechaun or crystal.
(Pauline has the leprechaun on the desk by my reckoning)
It wouldn't be the first time they have given the answer away.

Too bad I've posted my entry off:

The puzzle on page 44 - yes you are right the answer in actually given away in clue 5.
The puzzle on page 54 I can’t give away what the answer actually is as the competition is still open.
However, I can say it’s not meant to be fantacise or fantasize, it’s actually another word.

A bit of Anagram Solver Googling.... The answer is:
FASCINATE
