Kelly and Betony are from Brisbane but are based in Sydney. Not so long ago they saw a gap in the market for nice, organic pyjamas and so they filled it with ALAS. The name stands for 'All Light All Shadow', an acronym that's explained quite thoroughly here. "Cool beans!" you may say. "But I just want to look good when sleeping." We'll get on with it then.
Their Autumn Winter collection, titled 'Morning Flora, Morning Silence', includes jumpsuits, nighties, tops and bottoms in a predominantly purple, navy, grey and deep red palette. Thanks to nature, the prints are inspired by mountains, snow and rain.
Being so hot and all, you'd think these pyjamas were bad for the environment. But alas! They are not. The organic cotton is grown, spun, woven and dyed in one place. Also, the prints are made using AZO and formaldehyde free inks.
