To enter the competition, users will be required to log onto the website, and click through to the Australian Stifler Search promotional tile and tell us in 150 words or less why you are 100% Stifler?. Users will also be required to upload a photo of themselves at the time of entry. All answers are required in English. The user will also be asked to register their details for an entry into the competition. Entrants will be required to leave their details including name, date of birth, address, phone number, e-mail address.
Entry for the major prize and runner up tickets is open to all Australian residents 18 years and over, entry for the runner up prize pool 2 is open to Australia residents 15 years and over. Employees of MCM Media and their immediate families, associated agencies of mcm entertainment and companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion.
The competition commences on Monday 13th August 2012 at 12:00pm (AEST) and all entries must be received before Monday 3rd September 2012 at 9.00am (AEST)
All responses will be read and judged by a judging panel at MCM Media, Suite 103, Level 1, 355 Crown Street, Surry Hills NSW 2021, Monday 3rd September at 9.30am (AEST). The winners will be notified by email within 2 working days of the relevant judging date. Winners will be determined on their creativity.
Major prizes: 1 x major winner will be awarded a 2 x economy airfares to Sydney, 1 x nights twin share accommodation in a 3.5 star hotel or better, airport/hotel transfers and entry in the Australian Stifler Search competition in Sydney on Thursday 6th September. The major prize is valued at a maximum $2000.00. All other expenses unless expressly stated are the responsibility of the major winner
Runner up prize pool 1: 100 x runner up winners will be awarded a double pass to the Australian Stifler Search event held in Sydney on Thursday 6th September (transport to and from the event and any other expenses unless expressly stated are the responsibility of the winner) each double pass is valued at a maximum of $100.00 each.
Runner up prize pool 2: 20 x runner up winners will be awarded an American Pie Reunion prize pack containing a copy of American Reunion on DVD and an American Pie Reunion t-shirt the prize pack is valued at a maximum of $59.95 each
Total prize pool is valued at a maximum of $13,199.00
Should a component of the prize be cancelled (beyond the promoters control) no substitute prize will be offered.
Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any other prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The major prize winner (and their travelling companion) are responsible for all other expenses including additional spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The major prize winner and their travelling companion must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure
Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline.
A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable
MCM Media and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. Once prizes have left Promoter's premises, the Promoter will not be responsible for any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of prizes.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner and their guests may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
The promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit their prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
All winning entries become the property of the promoter. All winning entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may potentially use the entrants' names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition
In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
