2. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Entry into the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to entrants who are 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of Promoter and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
4. The promotion is open to residents of Australia only.
5. The promotion commences at 9am (AEST) on Monday 10 September 2012 and ends 4pm Monday 1 October 2012.
6. To enter the promotion, participants must submit their personal details including first name, last name, age, email and phone number (optional) via the entry form at

www.travel.com.au/win-an-iconic-melbourne-experience-travel between 9am (AEST) on Monday 10 September 2012 and 4pm Monday 1 October 2012. By entering the competition, all entrants agree to be subscribed to the travel.com.au, GoDo and The Iconic databases. All competition entrants must remain subscribed at the time of the prize draw and redraw (if a redraw occurs). One entry is permitted per person.
7. All valid entries will go into a random draw which will take place at 12pm (AEST) on Wednesday 3 October 2012 at Level 10, 17 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 (draw date). The first valid entry drawn will win:
(a) Return economy flights for two people from any capital city in Australia to Melbourne (excluding Melbourne), including taxes,
(b) Hotel accommodation for three nights at the 5-star Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, twin share, checking in on Sunday 4 November and checking out Wednesday 7 November 2012
(c) Tickets to the Makybe Diva Marquee on Melbourne Cup Day, Tuesday 6 November 2012, including three course lunch and drinks for two people
(d) 1 x $1000 theiconic.com.au voucher (valid for 1 month from date of issue) for the drawn winner. Use of the vouchers is subject to the terms and conditions set out at

8. The prize is a package for the winner and a companion who must be aged 18 or over, which must be taken on the dates as specified by the Promoter in Melbourne on Tuesday 6 November and departing on 7 November 2012. Travel dates cannot be changed.
9. In the event that a winner is unable to redeem any part of the prize on the original date arranged due to issues arising outside of the Promoter's control, the winner will be offered the opportunity to reschedule the hotel accommodation for another date. The return flights and tickets to the Makybe Diva Marquee cannot be rescheduled or redeemed at another other time.
10. The maximum total value of the Prize pool is AU$5,000.
11. Prize does not include additional travel costs to the departing capital city airport, excess baggage charges, travel insurance, any meals, beverages, visas, or additional travel charges incurred. Frequent Flyer points may not be accrued on this prize.
12. The winner will be notified within 48 hours of the draw date by email. The winners' details will also be published at
www.travel.com.au for a period of three months and in the weekly travel.com.au e-newsletter.
13. The Prize will be arranged by the Promoter. The prize is to be booked through the Promoter, with all details of the booking to be finalised within two weeks prior to departure.
14. Should the winner remain uncontactable, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 10 am (AEST) on Wednesday 17 October 2012 at Level 10, 17 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
15. The redrawn winner shall be notified by 12pm on Wednesday 17 October 2012 via email. The redrawn winner's details will also be published at
www.travel.com.au for a period of three months and in the weekly travel.com.au e–newsletter.
16. By entering this Promotion, the entrant will be automatically subscribed (and will be deemed to consent to such subscriptions) to the travel.com.au, GoDo.com.au and theiconic.com.au databases and will receive electronic messages from travel.com.au, GoDo.com.au and theiconic.com.au. An entrant may opt-out of receiving any future communications from all companies upon request.
17. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. Prizes must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible, except as set out in these terms and conditions.
18. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit and the Promoter's decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time, subject to the approval of all relevant State and Territory Lottery Departments.
19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.
20. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
21. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.
22. Automated entry software or spamming that allows an entrant to enter multiple times is prohibited and all entries submitted by that entrant will be deemed invalid.
23. If this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
