CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on how to enter, mechanics of entry and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. Entry is via Internet only.
2. Entry is only open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years or older who (Entrants). The directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies whom are directly associated with the conduct of this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion.
3. The promotion starts at 9:00am (AEST) on 1/8/2012 and ends at 9:59pm (AEDST) on 31/1/2013 (Promotional Period). The Promotional Period will be divided into six (6) promotional rounds (each, a Promotional Round), six (6) corresponding voting periods during which public voting is open (each, a Voting Period) for the purpose of selecting finalists in this promotion and six (6) corresponding promotional judgings (each, a Judging) for the purpose of judging winners and awarding prizes in this promotion. For each Promotional Round, there are two elements that run simultaneously, the Theme element and the Your Stay element (except for Promotional Round 1 during which only the Theme element is running). Entries submitted during a particular Promotional Round will NOT rollover into subsequent Promotional Round(s) (if any). 4. To enter this promotion, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period:
a. visit the Holiday Inn Australasia page on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/#!/hiaustralasia (Promotional Page);
b. ‘like’ the Promotional Page. Entrants who have previously ‘liked’ the Promotional Page will not be required to complete this step. For the avoidance of doubt, to ‘like’ in this context means to click on the ‘like’ icon on the Promotional Page;
c. access the promotional application (Application) made available via a tab on the Promotional Page; and
d. follow the prompts of the Application in the manner required to submit the online entry form, including providing the Entrant’s full name, date of birth, residential address, current and valid email address, contact telephone number and mobile telephone number. Entrants must also nominate their three (3) ‘likes’ and one (1) ‘dislike’ in two hundred (200) characters or less and upload a photograph of the Entrant only.

5. If an Entrant submits a Your Stay Photograph, the Entrant must either (a) already be a registered member of Priority Club Rewards and remain a registered member for the duration of the Promotional Period; or (b) become a registered member of Priority Club Rewards during the Promotional Period and remain a registered member for the duration of the Promotional Period.
6. For the avoidance of doubt, to nominate a like or dislike in accordance with Condition 4(d) means to describe what the Entrant likes or dislikes and does NOT refer to the Facebook ‘like’ icon.

7. Multiple entries accepted however each entry must be submitted separately, must be substantially unique and must independently comply with these Conditions of Entry.
8. The decision by the Promoter to accept or reject an entry is in the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into. Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive, obscene, crude or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers may infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity will not be accepted as an eligible entry into the promotion. This includes but is not limited to any entry which the Promoter considers to be disparaging of any of its and/or any prize supplier’s products and/or services or is otherwise not in keeping with the spirit of the promotion.
9. Entrants acknowledge that their Facebook profile, wall and/or news feed may be updated upon entering this promotion. Facebook membership, Facebook pages, the ‘liking’ of Facebook pages, Facebook applications and use of Facebook generally are subject to Facebook’s prevailing terms and conditions of use available at www.facebook.com/policies. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. To the extent permitted by law, each Entrant agrees to indemnify, defend and forever hold harmless, Facebook and its associated agencies and companies, against any and all losses, actions, claims, costs, expenses and damages (of any nature) which may be incurred by an Entrant in respect of the Entrant’s participation in the promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
10. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Contact details entered incorrectly on the Application by an Entrant will deem an entry invalid.
11. Costs associated with accessing the Promotional Page and/or Application remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary depending on the Internet service provider used.
12. The use of any automated entry software or any mechanical, electronic or other means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.
13. Entrants acknowledge that all entries will be featured on the Promotional Page for public viewing and public voting during the Voting Periods set out in the table in Condition 3.
VOTING
14. Voting is only open to residents of Australia and New Zealand who vote for one (1) or more of the entries online via the Promotional Page during the Voting Period (Voters). The directors, management and employees, contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies whom are directly associated with the conduct of this promotion are ineligible to vote in the promotion.
15. To vote, Voters must, during the Voting Period:
a. ‘like’ the Promotional Page. Voters who have previously ‘liked’ the Promotional Page will not be required to complete this step. For the avoidance of doubt, to ‘like’ in this context means to click on the ‘like’ icon on the Promotional Page;

b. access the Application made available via a tab on the Promotional Page; and
c. follow the prompts of the Application in the manner required to select one (1) of the entries as exhibited on the Promotional Page by clicking on the ‘vote’ icon on the image frame
16. Voters may submit a Vote multiple times however a maximum of one (1) vote for each entry during the Voting Period. Each vote must be submitted separately and must independently comply with these Conditions of Entry and Voting. Any subsequent Vote for a certain entry after the first valid Vote for that entry is received will be deemed invalid. Votes received will be considered final by the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected votes. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible votes will be deemed invalid.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any and all votes and reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant if the Promoter, in its sole discretion, believes that the Entrant is tampering with the voting process or is engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
18. Voters acknowledge and agree that this promotion does not involve awarding of any prizes to Voters, rather the votes of the Voters will be tallied to determine which Entrant will become finalists in this promotion.
THEME PHOTOGRAPH FINALISTS
19. The eight (Cool Entrants whose entries submitting a Theme Photograph receive the highest number of public votes at the end of the Voting Period will be finalists (Theme Photograph Finalists).
20. The Theme Photograph Finalists’ entries will be featured in a Holiday Inn print advertisement in Virgin Voyeur magazine.
WINNERS
21. All Theme Photograph Finalists will be judged by a panel of appropriately qualified judges by the dates specified in the table under clause 3 at Level 9, 504 Pacific Highway, St Leonards, NSW to determine one (1) winner in respect of each Promotional Round.
22. All eligible entries will be judged on a basis of originality and creative merit and most interesting ‘likes’ and ‘dislikes‘. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. The winners will be notified in writing. All reasonable steps to notify the winners of the results of the judging will be taken by the Promoter. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners’ names will also be posted on the Promotional Page.
23. In respect of Theme Photograph Finalists, for each Promotional Round, the one (1) entry judged to be the best from all Theme Photograph Finalists will win the corresponding prize as set out below:
a. Promotional Round 1: one (1) pair of one (1) carat diamond stud earrings from Michael Hill valued at $4,499.00 PLUS two (2) adult return economy class airfares for the winner and one (1) travel companions aged 18 years or older to Sydney from the Australian or New Zealand capital city airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner (inclusive of airfare related taxes and charges), valued at up to $1,000.00 PLUS two (2) nights accommodation at the Holiday Inn Old Sydney in a standard twin share room (including breakfast), valued at up to $700.00

b. Promotional Round 2: four (4) adult return economy class airfares for the winner and three (3) travel companions (any travel companion under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult) to Sydney, from the Australian or New Zealand capital city airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner (inclusive of airfare related taxes and charges), valued at up to $4,000.00 PLUS two (2) nights accommodation at the Holiday Inn Potts Point on 25/3/2013 & 26/3/2013 or 26/3/2013 & 27/3/2013 in two (2) standard twin share rooms (including breakfast), valued at up to $800.00 PLUS four (4) adult tickets to the Australia v Oman 2014 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifier at 7:30pm (AEDT) on 26/3/2013 at Stadium Australia valued at $260.00 PLUS one (1) signed Socceroos jersey valued at up to $1,100.00.
c. Promotional Round 3: two (2) adult return economy class airfares for the winner and one (1) travel companion aged 18 years or older to Melbourne, from the Australian or New Zealand capital city airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner (inclusive of airfare related taxes and charges), valued at up to $1,000.00, PLUS two (2) nights accommodation at the Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders in a standard twin share room (including breakfast), valued at up to $600.00 PLUS a $1,000.00 retail gift voucher as nominated by the Promoter in its sole discretion and which will have to be redeemed before 31 July 2013.
d. Promotional Round 4: two (2) adult and two (2) child (up to the age of 12) return economy class airfares for the winner and one (1) travel companion aged 18 years or older and two (2) travel companions aged 12 or younger to Vanuatu, from the Australian or New Zealand capital city airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner (inclusive of airfare related taxes and charges), valued at up to $3,500.00 PLUS seven (7) nights’ accommodation at the Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu in 2 standard twin/king rooms or a Family Suite (subject to availability) (including breakfast and kids club access for up to two (2) children valued at up to $3,000.00.
e. Promotional Round 5: two (2) adult return economy class airfares for the winner and one (1) travel companion aged 18 years or older to Rotorua, New Zealand, from the Australian or New Zealand capital city airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner (inclusive of airfare related taxes and charges), valued at up to $3,500.00 PLUS five (5) nights’ accommodation at the Holiday Inn Rotorua in a standard twin share room (including breakfast), valued at up to $800.00 PLUS EITHER a white water rafting day trip organized by the hotel on one of the days of your stay valued at $396.00 OR a visit to the geothermal hot springs in Rotorua, organized by the hotel on one of the days of your stay valued at $130.00
f. Promotional Round 6: two (2) adult return economy class airfares for the winner and one (1) travel companion aged 18 years or older to Darwin, from the Australian or New Zealand capital city airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winner (inclusive of airfare related taxes and charges), valued at up to $4,000.00 PLUS two (2) nights’ accommodation at the Holiday Inn Darwin in a standard twin share room (including breakfast), valued at up to $800.00 (each night taken either side of the stay in Gagudju), PLUS three (3) nights’ accommodation at the Holiday Inn Gagudju Crocodile in a standard twin share room (including breakfast), valued at up to $1,200.00, PLUS a yellow water 2 hour cruise on one of the days of the winner’s stay at Holiday Inn Gugudju Crocodile valued at $180.00.
24. In respect of Your Stay Photograph Entrants, for each Promotional Round, the five (5) entries with the highest number of public votes from all Your Stay Photograph entries received for each Promotional Round (except for Promotional Round 1 for which Your Stay Photograph entries are not accepted) will each be awarded five-thousand (5,000) Priority Club Rewards Points valued at USD$23.75 by way of a Priority Club Rewards voucher that can be deposited into the winner’s

25. Entrants who are awarded a prize must confirm their eligibility to be awarded the applicable prize, and ability to take the applicable prize within seven (7) days of being successfully notified by the Promoter that they have been awarded the prize, otherwise their entry will be deemed invalid. A prize must be taken on the dates nominated by the Promoter; otherwise the entire prize is forfeited. No extension or variation of the prize dates nominated by the Promoter permitted. All components of a prize must be taken together and when offered or are forfeited. Any element of a prize not taken will be deemed to be forfeited.
26. Redemption of a prize is subject to availability and may be dependent on travel class availability, specific room category availability and travel ‘blackout’ periods applying (including school holidays and public holidays). All components of a prize must be taken together and when offered or are forfeited. A winner and their companion (if any) must travel together and depart from and return to the same departure point. A winner and their companion (if any) may not accrue frequent flyer points or Priority Club Rewards points as part of their prize travel. A prize cannot be used in conjunction with travel discounts or special offers. Travel and accommodation are to be arranged by the Promoter. Unless otherwise stated, all prizes must be redeemed before 31 December 2013 or the prize will be forfeited.
27. All additional costs not expressly stated, but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of a prize, are the responsibility of the winner and their companion (if any). Such additional costs include, but are not limited to, meals, beverages, room service, telephone calls, laundry services, spending money, transport to and from airport departure point, other transfers, taxes including arrival and departure taxes (if applicable) but excluding airfare related taxes and charges included in a prize, insurance, travel insurance, passports and visas (if applicable). Winner may be required to present a credit card at time of accommodation check-in.
28. If a prize includes international travel, the winner is solely responsible for their entry and the entry of their companion (if any) into the destination, at their own expense, including ensuring all necessary passports, visas, travel authorisations, medical advice and recommended vaccinations and immunisations have been obtained prior to travel and, if required, on or by a date nominated by the Promoter. Failure to do so may result in the prize being forfeited.
29. Where entry to an event forms part of a prize, a winner and their companions (if any) must conduct themselves in a professional, courteous and friendly manner at all times whilst attending the event. Acceptance of a prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions of the event organizers (including but not limited to ground security and ticketing), and in particular, age, health, behaviour, and safety requirements. Any passes, tickets or vouchers issued by the Promoter as part of a prize are subject to their prevailing terms and conditions of use and are not replaceable if lost, stolen or damaged. A winner and their companion (if any) must follow all reasonable directions given by the Promoter and any event organiser during the course of their participation in a prize, including all directions relation to age, health, behaviour, safety or responsible consumption of alcohol. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify, sanction and/or remove a winner and/or their companion (if any) from an event on the grounds of inappropriate behaviour, for age, health or safety reasons, or for any breach of these Conditions of Entry generally. If a winner and/or their companion (if any) is unable to use any element of a prize as stated for whatever reason, including refusal of entry or ejection from an event (as applicable) or failure to participate in a prize in the manner required, as stated in this condition and in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, their entry and the balance of the prize will be forfeited with no compensation payable.
30. Total maximum prize pool value is up to $32,335 Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash (unless otherwise indicated). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be

sought. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. All prize values are the recommended retail price including GST, depending on point of departure.
31. The Promoter may award a prize to the next best judged entry for the prize that was not awarded three (3) days after judging in order to award a prize if unclaimed by that date. Any unclaimed prize winner will be notified in writing within three (3) days of judging. All reasonable steps to notify any unclaimed prize winner of the results of the judging will be taken by the Promoter. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
32. Entrants can only enter in their own name. Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the promotion and all entries of an Entrant who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information may, at the discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the Entrant’s identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim a prize, and any information submitted by the Entrant in entering the promotion, before issuing a prize. If the documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter (or its nominated agent) or an Entrant or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s satisfaction then all the entries of that Entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid.
33. The Promoter reserves the right to request a winner’s companion (if any) produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the companion’s (if any) identity and age before issuing a prize.
34. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner and their companion (if any) may be required to sign a legal release or releases in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
35. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any and all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant for: (a) tampering with the entry process; (b) submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry; or (c) if the Entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. A prize will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter requires in its sole discretion.
36. Any attempt, deliberate or otherwise, to cause malicious damage or interference with the normal functioning of the Promotional Website or the information on the Promotional Website, or to otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. If the Promoter suffers loss or incurs any costs in connection with any breach of these Conditions of Entry or any other legal obligation by an Entrant, the Entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter for those losses, damages and costs.
37. If a prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu.
38. If this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole

discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or, if necessary, to provide an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as an original prize or prizes.
39. The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies excludes all liability (including negligence) except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, for any direct or indirect injury, loss and/or damage arising in any way out of the promotion. This includes, but is not limited to: (i) technical malfunctions, delays or failures, including those resulting from accessing any materials related to this promotion and any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this promotion as a result of any technical malfunctions, delays or failures; (ii) theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) lost or damaged entries, prize claims or prizes; and/or (iv) acceptance and/or use of any prize.
40. As a condition of entering this promotion, an Entrant consents to the Promoter using the Entrant’s entry, name, likeness, image, voice and/or participation in a prize (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing the promotion (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The Entrant agrees that the Entrant will participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the promotion as requested by the Promoter and its agents.
41. An entry and any copyright subsisting in an entry irrevocably becomes, at time of entry, the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about an Entrant to include the Entrant in the promotion and, where appropriate, award prizes. If the personal information requested is not provided, the Entrant cannot participate in the promotion and is deemed ineligible. An Entrant also agrees that the Promoter may, in the event the Entrant is a winner, publish or cause to be published the winner’s name and locality in any media. An Entrant can gain access to, update or correct any personal information held by the Promoter by contacting the Promoter’s Privacy Officer at: Intercontinental Hotels Group (Australia) Pty Limited, Level 9, 504 Pacific Highway, St Leonards, NSW 2065 and in New Zealand by contacting the Promoter at Holiday Inn Rotorua, 10 Tryon Street Whakarewarewa, Rotorua 3043. All personal information will be stored at the office of the Promoter. A copy of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy in relation to the treatment of personal information collected may be obtained by contacting the Promoter.
42. By participating in the promotion, an Entrant also acknowledges that a further primary purpose for collection of the Entrant’s personal information by the Promoter is to enable the Promoter to use the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and services and to contact the Entrant in the future with information on special offers or to provide the Entrant with marketing materials via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages (SMS (Short Message Service), MMS (Multimedia Message Service), IM (Instant Messaging) and email) or any other form of electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications channel whether existing now or in the future. The Promoter may share information with its related companies or promotional partners who may contact the Entrant with special offers in the same way as the Promoter where the Entrant has opted in to receive information from the Promoter’s related companies or Promotional Partners. By entering the promotion, an Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter may use the Entrant’s personal information in the manner set out in this condition.
