Unfortunately I have been unable to personally preview  Septembers film  releases for our competition, but  here are the media release reviews for your  interest.


The Lady
The story of Aung San Sou Kyi as she  becomes the core of Burma’s democracy movement, and her relationship with her husband  writer Michael Aris.
 Starring  Michelle Yeoh as  Aung San Sou  Kyi.
 
Heartland
 Heartland Is a Canadian drama TV series, which debuted on CBC October 2007.
This series is loosely based on the Heartland books by Lauren Brooke
 Set against the vistas of the Alberta Rockies in Alberta Canada , it follows the sisters Amy and Lou Fleming and their grandfafther through the highs and lows of life on a horse ranch.
W&E

A British romantic drama it is loosely based on the love story of Edward  Prince of Wales and Wallis Simpson an American divorcee.
 Co written, produced, and directed by Madonna, it  was negatively received and failed to be a box office smash.
