Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter this competition and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the draw is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Entry is via

Entry into this promotion is open to all Australian residents aged 10 years and over. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter. Employees of MCM Media and their immediate families, associated agencies of MCM Media and companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion. Any person who within 365 days prior to the day on which the promotion first commenced has won a prize in value which is greater than or equal to $100 from another MCM Media promotion is not eligible to enter.

www.thehothits.com and click through to Vocalzone Maroon 5 competition and successfully complete a simple interactive game. The participant will then be asked to register their details. Entrants will be required to leave their details including name, date of birth, street address, postcode, phone number and e-mail address and gender. One complete and valid registration will provide the entrant one entry in the draw.
Incomplete, incorrect and incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid.
Only one complete online registration will be accepted per day (midnight to midnight) from the same person. Multiple registrations in the same day will not provide multiple entries.
Any participant who completes more than one online registration form per person, per day (midnight until midnight), will have all entries automatically disqualified for that day.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any internet entries not received or included for any reason, including due to technical or other failure.
The cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependent on the entrant's individual Internet Service Provider and the responsibility of the entrant.
The competition commences on Monday 3 September 2012 at 12:00pm (AEDT) and registration commences at this time. All registrations must be received by 12:00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 2 October 2012.
The draw will take place at the premises of Salmat Digital Pty Limited, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 at 3:00pm (AEST) on Tuesday, 2 October 2012. The winners will be notified in writing and the Major winner will have their details published on the website

The Promoter shall conduct such further draws as may be necessary at Salmat Digital Pty Limited Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 at 09:00am (AEST) on Wednesday 10 October 2012 to distribute the Major Prize unclaimed by that date subject to State Regulation. The Unclaimed Major Prize winner will have their website

The Promoter shall conduct such further draws as may be necessary at Salmat Digital Pty Limited Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 at 9:00am (AEST) on Tuesday 15 January 2013 to distribute any Runner-Up Prizes unclaimed by that date subject to State Regulation.
Major Prizes: There will be one (1) x major prize winner. The major prize winner will receive a trip to Sydney to see Maroon 5 in Concert, valued at a maximum of $3,000. Details below:
2 x tickets to Maroon 5's Sydney concert on Saturday 13 October 2012 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre
2 x return economy airfares from the winners nearest capital city to Sydney
1 x night twin share accommodation in a minimum 3.5 star hotel

The total major prize pool is valued at a maximum of $3,000.00
Runner Up Prizes: There will be 20 x runner up prize winners. The runner up winners will each receive a copy of Maroon 5 'Overexposed' album valued at a maximum of $29.95.

Only one prize per household will be awarded (SA residents are entitled to win more than one prize).
For the major prize: Travel must be taken at the time specified by the promoter and must coincide with the event date of Maroon 5's Sydney concert (Saturday 13 October 2012) as stipulated by the promoter. All travel arrangements, return economy flights, accommodation and event tickets including dates, times, logistics and mechanics are at the discretion of the Promoter and must be taken as specified by the Promoter. If a winner and travelling companions are (for whatever reason) unable to travel on a nominated date, or do not take an element of the prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the major prize or any element thereof.
The Major Winner (and their travelling companions) are responsible for all other expenses including additional spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the prize), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The major winner and travelling companions must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure. If the winner resides in NSW then the flight component of the prize will not be included and the winner and their travelling companion will responsible for making their way to and from the hotel in Sydney.
If the winner/s is under the age of 18 as at the date of the draw, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor in the participation of the prize.
Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline.
A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the Major Winner (or, if the Major Winner is under 18 years, their parent or legal guardian who is the travelling companion) at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.
MCM Media and Salmat Digital Pty Limited make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of that prize
In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby assigns to the Promoter all right, title and interest in and to all copyright in any material created pursuant to the winner's participation in any aspect of the prize (Works). The winner acknowledges that the Promoter is free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation thereto and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. All registrations are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database, and not at the time of transmission by the participant.
All prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If the prizes are unavailable for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of similar value subject to state regulation.
The Promoter and each of their related bodies corporate, associated agencies and companies associated with this competition will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
Should a participant's contact details change during the competition period, it is the participant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
MCM Media and each of their related bodies corporate, associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for any delay in delivery once prizes have left the Promoter's premises.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof of identity, the winner will forfeit their prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent. Entrant's personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to state regulation.
STANDARD OPT-IN: All opt-in entries for The Promoter, The Hot Hits Live from LA, Take 40 and Vocalzone will become property of the respective party. All entries will be entered into a database and the relevant party may use the entrant's names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. By opting-in, entrants confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose. If entrants no longer consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes, the entrant should contact The Promoter on their details set out below. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant's details should be directed to The Promoter.
In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state regulation.
The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
