As part of its national campaign launch, Shine Lawyers has unveiled an online competition giving people the chance to win $5000 for their chosen charity and an iPad for themselves.

The Stand Your Ground competition is open to Australian residents until October 12, and aims to showcase everyday people doing extraordinary things and standing up for what’s right in their own lives.

“This competition, like our new campaign, focuses on the courage it takes the individual to come forward, and the greater good they are capable of bringing about,” Shine Lawyers Managing Director Simon Morrison said.

“We wanted the competition to have a greater community benefit as well, which is why we are donating $5000 towards an Australian charity.”

To enter, all you need to do is visit rightwrong.com.au, and explain why it’s important to stand your ground.

The competition website includes the new Shine Lawyers television commercial, which features an original song by Australian artist Mark McDuff.

The ad focuses on one man’s courage and determination and incorporates well-known friend of the brand, Erin Brockovich.

“A lot of other law firms are focusing on the services they provide and what they do, rather than the clients, and getting to the heart of what righting wrong means to them,” Mr Morrison said.

“We are moving in another direction. To us, it’s about putting the client at the forefront and making them the hero of our brand.”
