1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents only.
3. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
4. The competition may only be entered once by each registered user.
5. The Promoters and Producers are Eve Media Pty Ltd ABN 1811 0798 126, P.O Box 684 Black Rock VIC 3193. Employees of The Promoter and any companies associated with the promotion, their advertising agencies, subagents, respective employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
6. The Program is Places We Go, produced by Eve Media Pty. Ltd and broadcast on Network 10 Australia.
7. Promotion commences Thursday 4 October 2012 09:00 AEST and closes at midnight, 26 October 2012. Any entry that is not received during the Promotion Period will be invalid.

9. The winner will be selected on Monday 29 October 2012 12:00 AEST at The Promoter’s business address. The prize will be awarded to the most original and creative entry as judged by our Judging Panel. The winner will be notified by e-mail or phone and details will be published on the Promoters Facebook wall. If the Prize remains unclaimed for 1 week after the Draw a redraw will take place on Monday 5th November at 12:00 AEST for the Prize. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
PRIZE TERMS & CONDITIONSThe prize consists of a trip for two (2) people in Tasmania, which comprises:
a. Return economy flights for two people to Launceston airport from the winners nearest Australian capital city. The airfares included in the prize are subject to the FLIGHTS Terms & Conditions set out at the end of these terms and conditions, and any other terms or conditions imposed by the airline.
b. 3 days/nights spent with the ‘Places We Go’ television film crew on location in Tasmania. Accommodation at Diamond Island Resort, Bicheno in twin/double room for 3 nights, activities and entrance fees are included. Winners will have use of a Subaru Outback and/or hire car for this period of time subject to the CAR terms and conditions set out at the end of the terms and conditions.
c. Additional 4 nights twin/double accommodation at Bed in the Treetops, St Helens for 4 nights and use of a hire car for the period. The accommodation included in the prize are subject to the ACCOMMODATION Terms & Conditions set out at the end of these terms and conditions.
d. An Antler Cyberlite luggage package consisting of a large, medium and cabin roller case per person.
Conditions
1. Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be sold or exchanged for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
2.
Travel must commence on 3rd December 2012 for 7 nights. Details must be provided to book and ticket by 2nd November 2012. The prize dates are non changeable. Entry to this competition deems acceptance that the winner is available to travel in this period.
3. The total prize value is up to AU$5,120 (including GST). Prize value is recommended retail price, and is subject to change. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
4. The winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any other media or organisation.
5. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
6. The winner must, on request by the Promoter, be able to provide evidence, which, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, demonstrates that the winner is an eligible entrant and has complied with these Terms and Conditions.
7. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. If a winner is unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or a prize is not utilised able to be taken as the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.
8. Any taxes (other than GST, if any) which may be payable as a consequence of the winner receiving this prize are the sole responsibility of the winner
9. By providing your name, email address, and phone number, you are opting into the Places We Go marketing database and you will receive regular communication and promotions from Places We Go. You may opt-out by following the instructions contained in any of the emails you receive from Places We Go. Places We Go’s privacy policy can be found at:
http://placeswego.com/privacy/10. Entrants will be invited to subscribe to receive more information from the Prize Sponsors. The decision by entrants to grant or withhold their consent in relation to the use of their information for marketing purposes will not affect the selection of the winner. The Sponsor may send entrants subsequent marketing communications where an entrant enters via the online entry mechanic, and opts into receiving marketing communications from the Sponsor. The Sponsors will only use the personal information of entrant’s in accordance with its own privacy policy. Whenever the Sponsor sends an entrant a marketing communication they will always provide the entrant with an option to unsubscribe from receiving future marketing communications from the Sponsor.
11. The Promoter, the Sponsors and their associated agencies, and other contractors associated with this Competition, accept no responsibility for prizes, prize information or for tickets lost in transit.
12. By entering, you agree that if you are chosen as a prize winner you will allow the Promoters to use your image, name, photograph, video, voice recording, and general location for their publicity and news purposes during this and any future promotions or advertising.
13. The Promoters will use the information that you provide or which it obtains from its dealings with you, to administer the competition. They may also use it to tell you about their products and offers, and for market research including analysis and development of their products and customer relationships. If you no longer wish to receive such information you can unsubscribe at any time.
14. The winner agrees to co-operate with the Promoter for publicity purposes and travel with the film crew per the pre-arranged itinerary and filming schedule.
15. The winner agrees to sign a talent release agreement, which agrees to using their image in the Program and consents to the use of their name, likeness, voice and biographical material in connection with the Program for publicity or promotion of the Program. The winner agrees that any materials submitted may be used in the production of the Program and remain the property of the Producer. The winner agrees that their appearance in the Program may be edited at the Producers discretion and they will not make any claim to their appearance in the Program. The winner agrees that the Producer is not obliged to include them in the Program. The winner agrees not to seek any remuneration for their appearance in the Program.
16. The winner also agrees to provide blogs / video
content and Facebook wall posts prior to, during and after the winning trip. All promotional materials provided in relation to the prize remain the property of the Promoter. The winner agrees for promotional content and assets to be shared between the Promoter and the Sponsors communication channels.
17. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner. The prize winner (and their companions) are responsible for all expenses including but not limited to spending money (other than that specified), transfers, meals (other than that specified), drinks (other than that specified), incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, activities, insurance, visa’s, taxes (including departure taxes), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges.
18. If for any reason whatsoever the winner is unable to take any element of the prize in the time period specified by the Promoter, then that element of the prize in its entirety will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
20. Accommodation selection, location and room type and air carrier selection and flight routing is at the sole discretion of the Promoter and the Sponsors.
21. The Promoter and the Sponsors make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
22. The decision of the Promoter in relation to the conduct of the Competition and the prize winner is binding and final and the Promoter and the Sponsors will not enter into any correspondence regarding the Competition result.
23. To the extent permitted by law, the Parties will not be liable for any for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, misadventure, accident, personal injury, death, damage or claim which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with:
a. any travel connected with the Competition or any prize won;
b. any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Parties, or any person associated with any of them; or
c. any circumstances outside the Parties’ reasonable control.
24. To the extent permitted by law, if for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes beyond the control of the Promoter, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available to it, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to any government regulation.
FLIGHTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• Flights leave from the prizewinner’s nearest capital city. The prizewinner and their travelling companion must travel together on the same flight. Travel arrangements to and from the winner’s nearest capital city airport (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth) do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner. If the winner is from Tasmania, ACT or Northern Territory, connecting flights from the capital cities in these states to the nearest flight departure capital city will not be included in the prize package. The prizewinner and their companion will have all flights and accommodation booked by the Promoter from the winner’s nearest capital city. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the prizewinner. Flights will be arranged by Webjet.
• Flights class, airline and routing is at the sole discretion of the Promoter and the Prize Supplier and will be subject to availability.
• Frequent Flyer points will not be awarded on this airfare.
ACCOMMODATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• Accommodation at Diamond Island Resort, Bicheno is for 3 nights, twin-share basis, in an Executive room with continental breakfast included each day.
• Accommodation at Bed in the Treetops, St Helens is for 4 nights, twin-share basis, in a Deluxe room with full breakfast included each day.
• Accommodation room types are subject to availability
CAR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• The use of the Subaru Outback is subject to booking and availability and the Sponsors standard loan vehicle Terms and Conditions in relation to test drives and similar arrangements. If a Subaru Outback is not available on specified dates of travel, an alternative model will be provided at the Sponsor’s sole discretion and will be subject to the same Terms and Conditions. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner and/or their companion sign any such documents as the Sponsor may require prior to accepting the prize. Each driver of the Subaru Outback (or alternative model) must be 18 years of age or older at the time of taking the prize and must have a full, current and unrestricted State or Territory driver’s licence (which is not under suspension or cancellation) as at the date on which the driver is to drive the vehicle, and for the duration of the prize. Any traffic infringements, petrol costs, toll fees and similar costs incurred while driving the vehicle are the responsibility of the driver. The driver and/or the winner will be responsible for any insurance excess payable as a result of damage to the vehicle while in the possession of the winner. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses (including travel to and from the dealership, additional fuel and any Tolls incurred etc) become the responsibility of the winner. Use of the Subaru Outback is available when the winner is on location in Bicheno with Places We Go.
• Hire car is based on standard sized vehicle and is subject to standard Hertz terms and conditions. The winner can upgrade the vehicle or add accessories to their booking (pending availability) at their own cost. Standard insurance and excess applies. Any traffic infringements, petrol costs, toll fees and similar costs incurred while driving the vehicle are the responsibility of the driver. The driver and/or the winner will be responsible for any insurance excess payable as a result of damage to the vehicle while in the possession of the winner. Vehicle type is subject to availability.
