How to Enter:
To enter, individuals must, between 9am AEDST on 20/02/2012 and 8.59am AEDST on 05/02/2013, either:
a) Complete an original official entry form available from selected shopping centres stands, events, clubs, trade shows, newspapers, magazines, flyers and send the fully completed entry form to “Win a $10,000 Home Makeover Promotion”, 1-3 Meridian Place, Bella Vista, NSW 2153 so that it is received by last mail on 05/02/2013. Only original official entry forms will be accepted, any photocopy of an entry form will be deemed invalid; or
b) visit www.moderngroup.com.au or any other related Modern Group owned or affiliated partner’s website, follow the prompts to the promotion entry page, input the requested details and submit the fully completed online entry form.
Entrants can also choose to refer this promotion to their friends by providing their friend’s information including their friend’s full name and unique valid email address in the fields provided before they submit their entry. Each referred friend will then receive a promotional email from the entrant inviting them to enter.
The original entrant will receive one (1) initial entry into the draw for submitting the official entry form or online entry form, as well as one (1) additional entry for each friend they refer to the promotion who then successfully enters the promotion. Entrants warrant that the individual they intend to refer the promotion to is an Australian resident aged 18 years or over, who consent to receiving such communications from the entrant, and who either owns their own home in Australia or holds a mortgage of a home in Australia. Entrants may only refer the promotion to each friend on one (1) occasion. The referred friend’s information provided must be true and valid in order for the entrant to receive any additional entries. Entrants will not receive an additional entry for any referred friend’s information that is entered incorrectly or is invalid.
Between 19/03/2012 and 05/02/2013 for every $2,000 spent (out of pocket contract price) on installed home improvements with the Promoter, the entrant will receive twenty (20) bonus entries. For the removal of doubt, entrants will receive twenty (20) bonus entries for every $2,000 spent (out of pocket contract price) on installed home improvements with the Promoter, for example if $4,000 is spent (out of pocket contract price) on installed home improvements with the Promoter, the entrant will receive forty (40) bonus entries.
Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who either own their own home in Australia or hold a mortgage of a home in Australia. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
Promotion commences at 9.00am AEDST on 20/02/2012 and closes at 8.59am AEDST on 05/02/2013 (for online entries) and last mail received on 05/02/2013 (for mail entries).
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
Multiple entries are permitted subject to the following: (a) only one (1) initial entry permitted per person; (b) only one (1) additional entry permitted for each successfully referred friend; (c) each entry must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements; and (d) a maximum of 250 bonus entries per household may be rewarded during the promotion (as detailed above).
There will be two (2) draws conducted for this promotion. Entries for each draw open at 9.00am and close at 8.59am (for online entries) and last mail received (for mail entries) on the dates specified in the table below. All draws will take place at Modern Roof Restoration (NSW) Pty Ltd of 1-3 Meridian Place, Bella Vista NSW 2153 at 5.00pm on the dates specified in the table below. All times indicated are AEDST/AEST unless specified otherwise. Un-drawn entries in each draw will be entered into any subsequent draws. Winners will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the relevant draw and the details of winners will be published on www.moderngroup.com.au on the dates specified in the table below. The details of any winners who reside in Victoria will also be published in The Age or who reside in ACT will also be published in the Canberra Times on the dates specified in the table below.

The winner will be the first valid entry drawn from all entries received in each draw.
The first valid entry drawn in each draw will each win a Home Makeover valued at up to $10,000. Each Home Makeover prize includes the winner’s choice of any of the following Modern products/services up to the value of $10,000:
Enviroblind Insulated Roller Shutter (s) up to the value of $10,000 for one (1) house (valuation of each shutter is dependent on the type of shutter required. As an example, a shutter for an average window with manual operation including materials and installation is valued at $1,365.00.);
SupaBlock Heat Reflective Roof Restoration for one (1) house up to the value of $10,000 (valuation of a total restoration is based on the size of job and work required to meet the companies’ guarantees on these products);
Modern Solar Energy Back to Grid System up to the value of $10,000. Winners must be eligible for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs)and must assign the STCs in accordance with the Promoter’s instructions, in order to have a Modern Solar Energy Back to Grid System installed;
Modern Solar Hot Water System up to the value of $ 10,000. Modern Solar Hot Water Systems are only available to houses in QLD, NSW and WA. Winners must be eligible for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) and must assign the STCs in accordance with the Promoter’s instructions, in order to have a Modern Solar Hot Water System installed; OR
a combination of any of the above Modern products/services up the value of $10,000.
If the winner selects any Modern products/services (as outlined in Clause 9 (a) – (e) above) which costs less than $10,000 then the balance will not be awarded as cash but can be used towards other Modern products/services as outlined in Clause 9 (a) – (e) above. The winners will be responsible for any costs exceeding $10,000. All prices are based on recommended retail price list.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Total prize pool value is up to $20,000. Prizes, including any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the promotion is final and binding on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
A draw for any unclaimed prizes will take place at 5:00pm on 20/05/2013 at Modern Group, 1-3 Meridian Place, Bella Vista, NSW 2153. In the case of any winners, they will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the unclaimed prize draw and the details of winners will be published on www.moderngroup.com.au on 04/06/2013. The details of any winners who reside in Victoria will also be published in The Age or who reside in ACT will also be published in the Canberra Times on 04/06/2013.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

Letterbox Deals reserves the right to verify the validity of memberships and to disqualify any member who tampers with the membership process or who joins in a manner or method not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this site. Only one account per person is permitted.
Promotion commences 10 April. Entries close 11:59pm EST on 18th June. Draws will take place on 20 June 2012 at Level 1, 183 Harris St Pyrmont NSW 2009 at 12pm EST. Winners will be notified by mail, email and/or telephone as necessary. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Letterbox Deals will randomly draw via electronic medium 4 winners. Each winner will win $500 in cash.
Total prize value will not exceed $ 2,000.
Any costs in excess of the value of the prize (including GST) and all ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
